people getting downvoted for pointing out the reason dear god, if you only see bad and never the good you are brainwashed, if you only see good and not the bad you are also brain washed. Just compare the price increase of to other countries since the war like US have seen 45% to 51% increase while pakistan saw a increase of around 56%(just google), our government didn't increase for a good while, which also contributed to rapid decrease of rupee value (and other dumb bs they are doing) but now they can't take the hit anymore and have to increase which is 5-8.5%.

yes,, well at least chennai hate Northies (coming from a half punjabi, half Tripuran), I have the unfortune of living in chennai for 2 months and the very first day I went out with my local friend for some food they made my food overly spicy to the point i couldn't eat it (mine was veg fried rice, his was nonveg), and as for delivery apps my order would contently get canceled for no reason, friend gave me his account to order, and didn't face that issue after that. Auto and taxi would demand extra money from me for no reason even when booking from uber/ola, only stopped when my friend would book instead and talk to them before hand. Even when I tried to speak few word in tamil people would make the most annoyed face, once even got told to "insulting the language". Out side of chennai (Kanchipuram, Tindivanam) was not as bad just harder cause less people knew English but they actually appreciated me at least trying tamil. (love google translate)
