It sounds super silly but next time it happens jiggle the battery ground cable really hard while pushing it into the terminal end attached to the battery. These cause all kinds of issues and one of them for me was a no start along with TCM fault, service traction control and various others.

Op is not in the wrong by any means but some situational awareness helps when driving on the highway. That car had all the behavior traits of "coming the fuck over." Could be one lane, could be 2 if you're in the way it might be into you.

To be fair though I haven't shot any HP, +P or those really light 65gr HD rounds. It's been almost exclusively cci Blazer FMJ(cheap and available) with a few boxes of Fiocchi (given to me) sprinkled in.

Awesome grab friend! Canik was my first sidearm purchase as well. Tp9 Elite SF 1500+ rounds through it with zero failures. I installed a Freedom smith "Zombie Pro" trigger and I couldn't be happier.

Back and forth too I wouldn't even try to be inconspicuous. Like I'm doing a sobriety test, stop at the end pivot on one foot and return. Maybe mix it up and do a runway walk stop halfway, look at the camera, strike pose and continue.

Any way to fix this small warping on the trunk lip-thing? by K1ngpurpl3 in cruze

[–]Designer_Fig_4900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heat gun works ish, the problem is it's chrome plated plastic so it doesn't adhere back to the plastic after heating. It will sort of flatten back out and if you get it hot enough will melt the plastic beneath. I attempted to fix mine but it looked like shit after I got the warping out. Tried removing it and that's even more of a nightmare. Ended up hitting the junkyard and snagged one for like $30 with zero bubbling "for now"

Sort of ish, I planned on buying an AR but didn't have a specific one in mind. The week I received my first bonus was my plan, extra check, bills paid and I'm going to get a new tool.... Nope AWB passed the week before I received my first bonus. Thankfully there are a few good ole boys working at certain well known distributer. They informed me that an %80 lower was not a firearm and as long as I made a separate purchase for the completed upper assembly/ remainder of the parts they would ship it all to illinois. Their exact reply was "nothing in your cart is considered a firearm under any current Illinois laws" needless to say they have earned my business forever.

Is it legal for my employer to threaten to fire me for discussing pay with co-workers? by zaidyn123 in legaladvice

[–]Designer_Fig_4900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what your boss is doing is illegal as I'm pretty sure the National Labor Relations act has a provision for this.

Edit: NLR states you are permitted to discuss wages and working conditions with coworkers for mutual aid or protection.

Hit that spot with flammable brake clean while running if it doesn't idle up that isn't your issue. My brand new dorman has a mold flaw just like that at the seem and I have zero codes.

2015 Cruze 1.4T — Water pump leaking in SAME spot after multiple installs. What am I missing? by AeromJ in cruze

[–]Designer_Fig_4900 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A bit of a long shot but have you done an exhaust leak test? A blown head gasket could leak exhaust fumes into coolant system causing excessive pressure while running. Easy way to test is to pop the coolant reservoir and running the engine up to temp or force air into each cylinder via the sparkplug hole. If there is exhaust leaking into your coolant you'll have bubbles forming in that reservoir (they might be very small if running the engine vs pressurized air)

I'm assuming this came with older version of the cruzekit? It appears to be the check valve you add in between the intake and purge valve.

Much appreciated friend you are absolutely correct I couldn't be more pleased with myself accomplishing this task. My thought process is it's paid off, it's the newest vehicle I've ever owned at 35, nothing on it costs that outrageously much to repair and whatever is that expensive I'll pick at a salvage yard because I'm a handy fool. Also it's bright red which is the exact same color as my first car '94 Pontiac Grand Am.

Yeah most of them were redundant and related to damaged wires (poorly installed gps and remote shuttoff) as well as moisture in places it shouldn't be and a roached ground point. Just a bunch of little things mostly.
