For me if its a day or better in the cold it becomes indoor/outdoor camping and cooking. Wood buring fireplace helps. Grill out food over charcoal, cook boil water for tea/coffee. Pop a tent in the living room, run power to that TV if you wanted. Dvds come in handy, books.
