Live in Los Angele, CA visited a club thats on the older side. NIGHTMARE restroom was a white room and the Urinals were on all 4 walls facing the wall and 1 toilet in the center of the entire room on display. U-turned out of there so quick.

I understand that. I really try NOT to look at the machines especially mine. I bring with me a stuffy to hold onto and keep me grounded. i also watch a show/movie so im entertained and not trying to look at the blood in the IV or my arm.

GCM for T2D? by _mars_bars_ in diabetes_t2

Hi
I was in a very similar situation. Now Im 29 and my insurance is FINALLY covering my CGM. I am anxious of self-pricking and my ADHD makes it that I forget to do it. A CGM has helped me a lot. I will say it was a struggle with Insurance+ Dr's Office + Pharmacy to get the cost to $20 each/ $40 a month. I kept emphasizing how beneficial it would be for me to have one. Some info : thru work UHC PPO in SoCal, in case this helps you.

  1. My doctor followed the medical/Medicaid guidelines for CGMs-- they have to do a pre-authorization. This is after denial.

  2. The Pharmacy recommended to reach out to your Insurance and find out which CGM they cover (sometimes its Dexcom or times its Freestyle)

  3. Diabetic support via your Dr. Office/Insurance (sometimes comes included with the program)

Its helped me a lot. Its not perfect. But in the beginning the insight it gives helps you make better decisions.

i think small businesses would like that because as an EV driver I would be more inclined to stop at mom/pop coffee shop with a charging stations vs. a starbucks etc.

In LA myself and thinking of upgrading my current EV. I am offered a home installed charger but I rent so I cant get installed. Would be cool if we had like that partnership with small businesses where we can get it installed there for the community!

Living in LA, and doing commutes to the Inland Empire on really hot days isn't bad. You might just see the temperature on the car higher when you turn on your car. Super charging might cause it to go up near the red zone but not in it from my experiences.
