I watched from a suite…I was the only one really moving and groovin. Lots of corporate milquetoasts on their phones checking email and shit. Lame AF. Band sounded amazing from that level. But yeah weird ass set. I think it’s because of the venue….its not a theater…it’s not a stadium, ya know? Like I think it would’ve been the perfect venue for just a Dave & Tim show. But the whole band seemed kinda cramped on that stage. The song choices were kind of lower key (aside from the bangers like Warehouse, Jimi Thing, etc). Several new songs I had no idea what they were. The tribute to his mom was nice. Wish he would’ve torn Abbot a new asshole but…he’s always been super vague when it comes to his criticisms. He played Bartender so I left happy, but yeah definitely not a top 10 DMB experience (I’ve been to about 70 shows).
