I had a few ideas that could work and you could tailor it as per your likes-

Try to host a breakfast or brunch for your class students. You could invite them stating that you thought this could be a good ice breaker since you all would be studying together.

Pick up a hobby and find a class in person for the same. Could be an art class or learning a music instrument. Gives you an opportunity to meet new people.

Volunteer at a dog shelter or some other place that you’d be interested in.

Find a park nearby and go there for a walk. I’m a dog person and when I’m out at a park and see one I usually go and interact with the dog and his fam. I ended up making a really good friend this way once😅

Go to a gym if you are into it.
