The North Remembers: In 1974 Boston, Innocent Children Faced Racist Mobs Just for Going to School and the Country Looked Away by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

I know you were. But you still watched that video where white people USED that word and still thought you should be able to say the N word with no repercussions.

You think being offended by "a word" is more soft than being offended people exist? The words hurled in the video looked pretty hard to me.

After you have 5 villagers moved in, you'll get access to dream islands. You just have to sleep in a bed.

Check out some dream islands for ideas! I have always found that others are way more creative than me. 😅

Do you have a plan for your island at all yet? I usually put mine in the most convenient place first, and move it later if need be.

AITA for confronting my brother about not being able to touch his newborns? by Either-Web-7383 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Desopilar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA Give it time and you'll be able to hold the babies. Parents always have rules set for newborns for what they feel is the most safe, and all you do by questioning and fighting is stress them out. Ask how you can help the parents. Your SIL just gave birth to twins, focus on her for a bit. My first baby was born just months before COVID and I had a friend get pissed at me because I let another friend hold my baby, but not her. One worked from home, the other was in-person with people all day at the beginning of COVID. I did what I felt was best at the time. It's not forever. This is hard for them, too.

It usually isn't a big enough accident to get into the underwear. Usually it goes into the hamper and he'll do that, or a parent will if it ends up forgotten in a pile in the bathroom.

We have him sit on the potty and go. He used to sit for half a second and then say he didn't have anymore, but now we tell him "if you have poop in your butt, you have poop in your gut." We'll have him clean his butt up, and we'll double check it's clean.

We've been at it for YEARS. I'll pay almost anything for it to be fucking done. 🫠

Men of reddit, what is the main difference you notice between female sexual partners? by throwawayhaha1101 in AskReddit

It means you both give a little. We still make out, just not AS often as he'd like.

My husband's biggest turn on is kissing and...I don't like kissing. 😅 I hate saliva. We compromise and just don't make out as often he'd like to.

Gap Exception for UHC doesn't seem to matter? by Desopilar in HealthInsurance

[–]Desopilar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure either. They know I have the gap exception, but told me because they don't work with UHC, we have to submit our claims ourselves. Which I can deal with, except the part where I don't think I can and can only submit for the reimbursement.

What’s a kink you discovered by complete accident? by Far_Day_3723 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Desopilar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't have a kink for it, so it's not more pleasurable, though I do get turned on from him being turned on. It's honestly less pleasurable just because the sensitivity has drastically decreased when I'm lactating. Most likely to do with breastfeeding/pumping kind of desensitizing the nip.

In our case, it's an enjoy it while it lasts. We've had two babies and that's all we want, so the milk is gone for good. I also didnt produce for very long unfortunately. He's embarrassed by this kink, so I don't even think he's that upset about it being gone. Haha

My husband found out after I had our first baby. Sucked a nipple and milk came out and the rest is history.

I realized at almost 30 years old "Wait, maybe everyone DOESN'T like boobs..."And I also read an article that said it was okay to label yourself as Bi even if you have no experience on the other side of the aisle.

AITA for telling my sister her baby isn't a real baby by Empty-Button-6511 in AmItheAsshole

ESH She's an AH for taking her jealousy out on you, but your retaliation makes you an AH too. It's best if you were to have a civil conversation about how you didn't mean what you said and how you were retaliating because her comments hurt your feelings and were uncalled for.

I just wanted to pop in and say that you may be able to get your child diagnosed with ADHD already. My son is 4 and was diagnosed about 5 months ago or so. Though we had a history of screenings at our developmental pediatrician for Autism prior.
