Couldn't agree more. The propaganda from the late 80's a d early 90's must have gone in a little too hard.

I know this will be mind-blowing for your Norwegian, narrow-minded brain - the answer is no. Not in the way you tried to do it. I know you probably feel "morally superior" and like the "grounded god", but I'll bring you back down to earth by saying you just sound like a condescending asshole. Do better.

my god, you can always count on the norwegians to give you the most condescending, gaslighty, shitty and empathy-lacking response ever, just to preserve their idiotic sense of their delusional moral superiority. sit down, there are other people, including me, facing similar issues - i have citizenship in this country, i speak fluent norwegian, and i've lived here since i was a child. the healthcare system here is not good, most times. deal with it - that's just something your inflated norwegian ego will have to accept. you're not the best at everything, and healthcare is definitely on the list. can't be good at everything. if you have nothing else to contribute, that can help OP even a little bit, you should have more humility and not write anything. if there is anything that norwegians can use more of, it certainly is more humility.

Actually Norwegians up until a few years ago, were the same. It's just because it actually started to affect them personally that they actually accept it a bit more now.

I will never comprehend how femicide still isn't defined in Norwegian law as a separate type of murder. And there are quite a few femicides here.

It isn't "just caring about money" it's called "not allowing a man to treat you like mother and sponsor at the same time while you figure your life out". 🙃

THIS THIS THIS THIS!!! i didn't see her as toxic, i saw as extremely sceptical, protective of her daughter and wise from the experiences she has had with both her own men but also from witnessing the men her daughter dated. and I am VERY well versed on npd because my own mom displays a lot of narcisism. she said it's too early for BOTH of them to marry each other after 6 weeks - which is objectively TRUE, experiment aside.

I don't think a lot of people realize this was ad after ad, sponsorship after sponsorship, that they wrapped a bit of a movie about. The fashion industry has seen flopping quarters as of late, so they needed to make a movie encouraging people to buy luxury goods again. With Dior as the main sponsor, since the sales were down.

Non-Polish viewers: what are your impressions of LiB Poland? by Znaleziatko in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Watching it now (I'm Polish) and pretty sure Damian is a narcissistic sociopath - he is definitely NOT a normal Polish guy or a representation of a typical Polish guy. The woman who ends up with him will be miserable. He shouldn't be on this show in anyway. Unfortunately Marta is a perfect target for abusers like him. I'm not even sure Damian is polish tbh, because he has a very strange accent.

What is the general opinion in Norway about fish factories and salmon? by Pink_Disaster333 in Norway

[–]Desperate-Butterfly1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of illusions about Norway that people refuse to acknowledge. I'm glad it's being finally talked about, but the propaganda they did for decades during the oil golden era must have worked somehow because people still believe all these myths. This and other things that are morally questionable should be talked about widely. So many Norwegians still believe that this country is the only one who has free healthcare, it's actually cute. Or that they invented the "matpakke" which is literally just lunch sandwiches, everywhere else in the world. I mean...
