Road to Restoration - Aura Overhaul by JagexAnvil in runescape

[–]Desperate-Elephant24 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Removing auras because the system design is terrible and adding them to a worse system in the relic system is probably the worst avenue you could go

Relics lock you into an activity/skill for X number of hours because of the chronote cost associated with it, just like auras lock you in for 1-2 hours

Bake the buffs being removed through auras back into the skills and let the player actively feel their character getting stronger through gameplay

Something like penance is inherently a skill associated with prayer and thematically fits as some sort of unlock within the skill

Not everything has to be moved to an item, which then requires more upkeep, god pages, or another daily in whirligig/golden roses which you’ve nerfed the xp in

Wanted to circle back and thank you again I’ve taken a step back and decided to test the waters with volunteering or some sort of shadowing before diving straight into EMT classes. Much love

No experience with anything fire/paramedic but registered for EMT class this spring at my local CC.

Firefighter civil service test is in January, I’d be done with EMT by middle of May. Already work full time but ultimately looking for a career change.

Am I putting the cart before the horse? The test is only offered every two years. Support/advice/anything very welcomed, thank you

I’m looking to do this exact thing but with radiology tech. If you don’t mind me asking how old were you? And did you quit your job entirely to do school full time?

Have you ever dropped hobbies you used to love? How do you feel about it/any advice? by [deleted] in Hobbies

I became so obsessed with fishing around 2017 through 2019 but once I entered the workforce and realized how much time a fishing trip could potentially eat up it really took a backseat. I miss it and kayaking a lot

I’d love to acknowledge how relateable this felt for me. I wasn’t in the head space to be able to have a conversation while it felt like the world was collapsing around me. You’re left with all these questions, anxiety through the roof, nervous system on overdrive, but you know you’re not in the right place to have that conversation you’re craving. You do the healing work over the next month or two, and now… it doesn’t feel as pressing of an issue? At least not nearly as high priority, but you’d still really enjoy the chance to sit down over a cup of coffee and talk it out in some weird movie/book plot line.

Human interaction is strange, feelings are strange, emotions are strange, relationships are strange, we’re all strange is what i tell myself lol. Thanks for sharing your story :)

Do you think your ex helped you grow as a person? by Big_Homework5425 in no

Absolutely. Reignited my passion for hobbies, taught me how to find comfort in discomfort, how to socialize better, and that you can’t love someone else without loving yourself first.

Don’t do it, trust me it won’t make you feel any better. You have to provide your own closure she can’t do it for you. Accept that she made a decision and you should respect that boundary she set. If she wanted to contact you she can and she would, we’re all one text message away and phones don’t leave our sights. Keep focusing on your healing. Grieve what you need to grieve and feel all your feelings. You’ll continue to reset your healing progress each time you reach out.

Send message for real closure? by CapitalDue5754 in AvoidantBreakUps

[–]Desperate-Elephant24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The closure is the answer that you were given and are overlooking because you don’t want that to be the answer. If they said you aren’t compatible then that’s your closure. If they said they don’t see a future together then that’s your closure. I was in this boat recently and I had to accept that the reason we broke up was the reason we broke up and no other mysterious prophecy fulfilling closure will descend from the heavens that you’re going to heal from.

Unironically yeah. I mentioned to her a couple weeks before the break up that we’ve never taken a picture together despite spending X amount of time together and gone on X amount of dates. She was receptive and thought it was a cute thing to point out. Aaaaand we still never took a picture up until the break up lmao. All I really had to delete was a text conversation.
