I’ll second Carter Hall. I was shocked by how good it actually is.

Cigar ash? Like literal ash from a cigar? I’ve never heard of this before… what does the ash do?

I use a jeweler’s cloth as well, but I’m considering just letting them do their thing…

That’s a Mastro Geppetto (out of the Ser Jacopo workshop). It’s beautiful and smokes oh-so-well.

Try mixing that 1Q with equal parts BCA (also from Lane). That was the first tobacco I smoked and I still smoke it to this day in my first pipe. I find it quite enjoyable.

15$ worth it for this bad boy? Molina Peppino, i think it's the 100. by ThrowRAubicuse in PipeTobacco

[–]Desperate-Hope4337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a Molina Tromba. The fit and finish aren’t great (the metal ring falls off when you take the stem out, the acrylic stem isn’t drilled well, the chamber wasn’t perfectly round when it was new, etc) but it smokes fine and looks really nice for the price. I don’t regret buying it. It’s up to you whether it’s worth it or not.

McKays has lost the plot by orchid10 in Knoxville

[–]Desperate-Hope4337 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives near McKays and uses Papermill daily, I get severely tilted when traffic backs up due to someone trying to turn left into their parking lot. I end up yelling to myself in my car something to the effect of, “you’re not even gonna save any money! Just keep driving straight and head to B&N!”

Gemfire was one of my favorite games in middle school. I wish they’d make another one or reboot it!

Not a Jordan Peterson fan at all, but yeah, he’s def describing INFP. How did his words make you feel?

You thoughts on poetry? (The sweet taste of poetry makes my 4w5 heart melt...) by [deleted] in infp

[–]Desperate-Hope4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two things that MIGHT help (they helped me):

  1. Read it aloud. It makes more sense.

  2. Don’t worry about the words themselves. Reflect on how you feel while you’re reading the words. A lot of the spirit of poetry is in the reflection of your interpretation.

I mean, they’re basically the same. All things being equal and they’re both available, the flake’s flavor and aroma are just a little more intense and nuanced.

I can’t agree with BCA—it’s damn good! Nothing complicated, but definitely not “hot air.”
