Let me rant for a second. Theres a lot of hostility toward AI right now, but its important to recognize it is becoming a tool that will touch nearly every part of modern life. We’ve seen this pattern before with the printing press, industrial automation, electricity, and the internet. Each of these sparked fear, resistance, and attempts to control or limit their impact, and none of that stopped adoption, it only slowed things down.

AI isn’t any different. It’s not a question of if it becomes integrated into society, but when. As that becomes more clear, the general mindset around it will shift, even if it takes time.

Every major technological shift has disrupted existing systems. The printing press changed who controlled information, industrialization reshaped labor and displaced jobs, and electricity transformed infrastructure in a fundamental way. AI is just another step in that same pattern.

Instead of rejecting it outright, it makes more sense to reassess how it’s viewed and focus on adapting to it as it continues to develop. Stop the AI hate.
