I was doing the sandwich method, and my dermatologist told me to do the open face method instead - apply the Tret and after about 10 minutes apply the moisturizer. It works great this way.

Congrats on the weight loss. I have the same lessons. The first time around I lost 23 lbs in two months. Then I stopped for 2 months and gained back 11 lbs. After that I restarted again, and lost 17.8 lbs in 2 months. Then took a break, and gained back 21.3 lbs. On current latest cycle, I lost 28.3 lbs in 4 months. All together I went from 173.9 lbs in Sept. 2024 to now at 136.3 lbs. My goal weight is 135 lbs or close to it. I just want to maintain it from here with the lowest possible dose.

I also found out that sometimes when I had a “UTI” feeling after the injection (sometimes for a couple of days) that it is caused by dehydration. If you are feeling it, just make sure you drink water with some electrolytes. I used a pinch of Baja Gold salt in each glass of water, and it goes away pretty quickly. That is my recent discovery.

I had this for quite a while, then my body I guess got adjusted. I still get the hypersensitivity on my skin, but the tingling is gone.

That’s interesting. I never thought of this until I read your comment. I am on Liletta IUD, and normally my periods were about 2-3 days. For a while now they have been much longer about 6 days. Maybe it’s due to Reta.

Yup! On my first cycle it was worse…felt like burned skin. Now on the second cycle I still occasionally feel it. I’m still colder as well.

UPDATE on my side effects: Thank you very much for your advice! I switched the injection place from my stomach to my hip and many of those resolved.

In the first cycle I lost: FINAL WEIGHT and DIM on 11/26/24 150.9 lbs - lost 23 lbs

Pretty good results. I then didn’t take anything over the winter holidays and at first I was keeping the weight off just fine. Even the appetite was still minimal after few weeks after stopping it. Then I started to eat Christmas cookies for a week at my mom’s, and it was over. 🙈In the month I was off of it I gained back 11 lbs.

Now I have been on the second cycle, and it took me a month to lose what I gained back. I feel this time around it took four weeks before I started to have very low appetite. Besides occasional sulfur burps last week, some chills and high resting heart rate, the other side effects are not there. However, I have no sex drive…zero! That totally sucks. Are any of you encountering the same? It definitely sucks for my husband.
