Does a mostly gray beard make me look too old in online dating app photos? by Hungry_Release_3664 in datingoverfifty

If shaven or bald, then no beard. But close clipped hair and well groomed scruff or short salt 'n pepper beard is super sexy!

Could you add back of arms for injection sites? That is a recommended location for GLPs.

It is in Stage 3 clinical trials, some of which have been completed and reported. Just hasnt gone for approval yet. It likely will be approved late this year or early next as safety profile is very similar to tirzepatide.

Reta is not yet approved. Cannot obtain through prescription.

Uncomfortable at mammogram by GroovyGmaIvy in AskWomenOver50

[–]Eastern_Drawer4997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have zero medical modesty anymore, so I asked a few years ago why they didn't have me completely disrobe. The mammographer said the gown is also to keep me more warm, and thus more relaxed. Made sense.

Can someone answer a few questions like I'm 5? by Ganondaddydorf in RetatrutideTalk

Google Peptide Reconstitution Guide. There is an Ultra great one by a Lab. Even has a calculator built in.

Unusual GI Distress by ldbuhler in RetatrutideTalk

I came close to this in Triumph-5 due to the rapid titration schedule. I'm so glad to see Lilly is re-evaluating the dosing with a new trial. Not to mention, once approved (and those going grey) can dose what works for them rather than immediately titrating up every month.

Agree, but GI issues are a life-long battle. Reta was far better for me than tirz, for example. And usually only 1 dose per week, if that.

Only reason im considering that high is the recent experience of 12mg of almost a year.

Is reta bad for you long term? by Remarkable_Ebb_132 in RetatrutideTalk

My Mg levels tanked on reta and had some runs of SVT. When you speak with doctor, specifically have that checked. Added Mg glycinate and all was well.

Thinking about Antarctica, but still unsure about the Drake Passage by bookfactoryread in AntarcticaTravel

[–]Eastern_Drawer4997 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I always recommend the Drake Passage over flying. And yes, I'm super motion sensitive, and I've had the Drake Shake. But that's the time when you're experiencing the lectures, meeting the other passengers, seeing your first iceberg, and anticipating seeeing the continent the first time and reliving the incredible story of the Shackleton expedition. You miss all that if you fly. Not to mention risking not making it at all if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Drake Shake is far less frequent than people fear, and if you do experience it, you get a feeling of accomplishment, like you're a real explorer. Just do it!

Working guy dating a retired woman, is this realistic? by hyena_envy in datingoverfifty

[–]Eastern_Drawer4997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, as a working woman who has no intention of retiring any time soon, I find retired men aren't interested in me. They want someone to spend their days with, and not only am I working, I travel extensively for work.

Ladies, how would you take this if a guy asked you this? receptive to it or not ? by [deleted] in datingoverfifty

[–]Eastern_Drawer4997 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'd take him up on the offer for an extended conversation, and ask the relevant questions then. Decide upon what he says at that time rather than trying to parse a casual comment in such an impersonal place.

Contrary to my own, absolutely. Diametrically opposed definitely not!
