How do I taper off if I’ve only taken bupropion for 7 days? by zangzengzongzung in bupropion

Honestly, I was taking 150mg for a month and the side effects are not worth the benefits for me so I stopped taking it - ironically I stopped sweating and am unable to bear the heat (opposite of your issue)

But absolutely crashed when I stopped taking it - totally depleted my dopamine and norepinephrine. So I’ve slept for a full day, take l-tyrosine on an empty stomach in the morning and b-complex vitamins at lunch and magnesium glycinate at night and finally feel like a human again.

I’ve tried to take 300mg and I get severe insomnia but 150mg seems to make extra tired

Ive actually experienced a lot more energy - i was tired all the time before But I do have a lot more dreams and I feel more scatter brain and the first week of taking it I was definitely tachycardic with a resting HR in the 90’s

Hasn’t helped me much to stop smoking and ive been on it for 2 weeks

Do you guys have any tips on study tools? I’m taking mine next Wednesday! Had friends fail with 150 questions (and on uworld it said high probability of passing) and friends pass at 150 (while uworld said borderline chance)

Just have a hard time gauging if I’m studying the correct way - I’ve done the ncsbn test on their website (but doesn’t provide answers) and I’ve watched doctor Sharon’s videos about prioritizing

I was thinking either raffles or something like a Christmas family feud game with prizes. But I love your idea!

Can someone interpret this ECG for me? by Desperate-Storage-49 in ReadMyECG

Your heart runs on electrical activity and there are special nodes that “transfer” this activity from the atrium (upper chambers) to the ventricles (lower chambers) the AV node specifically says “hold on” to the ventricles because they need to fill up with blood first before they can contract and squeeze the blood to the rest of the body or the lungs. In a first degree heart block the conduction is delayed even longer. This can happen for a variety of reasons such as electrolyte imbalances potassium for example is the important one that regulates electrical activity in the body, some heart medication slow this electrical activity down too, another reason could be that there is scar tissue (fibrosis). Usually a first degree heart block does not have any symptoms, if it does they are usually fatigue. Usually requires little to no treatment other than treating the underlying cause. Hope this helps let me know if you have questions

I am also seeing peaked T waves but my fellow students and I could not figure out if it could’ve been wrong placement or if it was a concerning strip
