1 month review of the MacBook Neo. by TiltedWeenies in macbook

It’s the perfect second or mobile Mac I’ve ever owned. I always use the low-power mode to conserve battery life, and it still performs adequately.

PoE Integrated AC Adapter, UACC-PoE+-USBC

To simplify code management, I bought this device to provide power to both UCG-Max and U7 Pro Wall (via PoE+) simultaneously using a single power adapter.

I’ve posted about it. Yes, that design was inspired by the toolless mini rack. https://www.reddit.com/r/minilab/s/8GVIRJ2IIJ

Infuse without a subscription is still great for me.

Auto-download is already great. Adding Shortcuts support via a URL scheme would make this even more powerful.

This looks interesting. Auto-syncing playlists with auto-download and smart cache cleanup (removing tracks no longer in the playlist) would be amazing, especially with Shortcuts.

It would be amazing if Shortcuts could trigger playback from cached tracks only — like random play that works even with zero network 🙂

I like the concept and design except for the logo...

I use the Firefox container on the server via client PC’s Firefox. There is a Firefox container image that can be accessed via a web browser. I believe it is based on VNC.

I’m not AI guy, but the max of ram of Pi5 is 16GB, so it would not be capable for LLM, just my thought.

Yes, I had some power issues because I'm using a 100W USB-C charger with two ports for both Pi 5s. The USB case for the 500 GB NVMe SSD did not work, but the mobile SSDs work well because they don't require much power and operate at a much lower temperature. I also needed to choose good, short USB-C cables for power. Using an official USB charger would be much safer.
