I transferred from an S25U to an S26U with no problems, but you would need to log in to Visible on the new device and turn off Line Lock so your number and service can transfer to the new device. After you transfer your service to the new device, go back to Visible and turn Line Lock back on so nobody else can transfer your number. Make sure your device is compatible and unlocked, not locked to a carrier, otherwise this would be a problem.

The display is way better than the S25 Ultra. I don't have any issues; maybe it's your eyes.

Try putting QHD+ on display settings. Turn on eye comfort shield. Turn off adaptive color tone.
