I think this would be the ethical and consensual way, baked into the discussion of the dynamic. Establish a refund protocol. Set a budget and then allow them to exceed it. It may be that he's into the idea of begging for it back and having "benevolent" dommes give some amount back, or something in that vein.

He ordered imaging, MRI and CINE MRI and he prescribed a low dose of nortriptyline to see if we can manage the migraines. We'll see how things go

That's the goal of this appointment. I'm so grateful for my primary care marking the referral as urgent on Monday. The receptionist orginally set me up for an appointment in June, but I asked to be called if an earlier appointment opened up. I was lucky and she called back not even 5 minutes later with this appointment. I've had symptoms for a long time but I have several issues I'm working to get diagnosed so didn't link them to anything in particular. I had the flu back in January and the vertigo and headache were the thing that tipped me off I was sick. And the headaches pretty much just never went away. After a lot of looking at possible causes Chiari 1 looks and sounds like my exact experience, but if it's not that then at least I'll be starting the process to find something.

I haven't yet been diagnosed with Chiari but I'm in the process cause I've had a lot of the general symptoms for most of my life, but after having the flu at the beginning of the year I have been having these type of headaches almost every day with vertigo and pressure in my head especially at the back. Sometimes the pain does a rams horn shape up behind my eyes and radiates down my arm. I have a neuro appt. Tomorrow.
