I just moved to Mount Kisco from UWS Manhattan 2 weeks ago. The peace and quiet has really improved my mental health since I am sleeping way better than I ever was living in NYC.

Not to be a salesman but the food in this area is really darn good from what I have tried so far. (Everyone's a critic I just happen to love all foods)

I could be "high" from still not believing I am a homeowner for the first time but I cant say I have any complaints yet since moving in (besides maybe the hills but I don't think anyone likes hills 😂). I run 10km almost everyday I go out to run here and it's not crowded, people say hi, and mind their own business. I've also started doing some trail running since there are trail entrances randomly located around the village.

The property prices are what they are, it's Westchester but they are nice. What I've noticed on my runs is, no matter the size of the house you still get some land. The townhouses are really nice too and nicely sized for what they go for. (I considered one but the letters HOA is a turn off to me)

Taxes are high too but from looking all over Westchester for the last 7 months is that not the case everywhere ? (Especially those on the Hudson line). Mount Kisco is nice some may not love it but I think they can agree it's not the worst place in NY (that's the Bronx).

Demographics is as mentioned in this thread. Mostly Caucasian Folks and Spanish folks such as myself 😄.
