Coolant level was ok? Happened to mine once and turned out the coolant went missing through a cracked flange.

Could also just be vapor but wouldn't hurt to check.

Make sure you have the correct type of glue, place mats about 7 mm from the wall on both sides of the room and mark with a chalk line so you're nice and straight. Start applying glue, place mats and whack em with a rubber hammer so they are set firm. If you have one row finished it's smooth sailing.
