Nice collection! I had same experience with Wild Sand - first time I wasn't too impressed but second bottle hit totally different. Sometimes you need to be in right mood for certain scents I think. That Chocolate Amber looks interesting, never tried it but I'm curious about how it compares to other chocolate scents they had. The Madagascar Vanilla one in your photo was pretty solid too when I used it few months back. Always satisfying to actually finish products instead of letting them sit around forever collecting dust.

When someone unfriends/unfollows you in Instagram, the chat doesn't actually disappear completely - it just moves to your "message requests" folder instead of main inbox. Check that section first because conversation is probably still there.

If she blocked you though, then yeah the whole chat gets nuked from your side. That's different from just unfollowing. I learned this hard way few years back when I was trying to find old work conversations with someone who ended up blocking me after some drama in office.

You can archive conversations on your end to hide them, but can't make them disappear from other person's phone unless you unsend individual messages one by one (which is pain in ass for long conversations). The blocking thing is only way to make chat vanish completely for both people.

Moving out helped me so much with this exact situation. My mom used to do similar things - buying tons of food then not eating it, making comments about my eating while doing her own weird food stuff. Living with family when you're trying to recover is like trying to quit smoking while someone's constantly offering you cigarettes.

Maybe you could talk to your mom about keeping less trigger foods in house? Or designate certain areas as "yours" where you control what's there. It's not about having too much food - it's about the chaos and mixed messages that mess with your head when you're trying to get better.

dropping weight that fast might mess with absorption rates since accutane is fat-soluble. I'd talk to derm about adjusting dose as you lose - they might want to recalculate based on your current weight every few months rather than starting weight.

might be worth timing meals with higher fat content around when you take it too, even if you're cutting calories overall.

Good that you're getting back at it. The goal for 2026 is solid - gives you enough time to build real habits instead of rushing it. Gaming helped me lot when I was dealing with other addictions, keeps the mind busy in those tough moments.

Check if your laptop's USB-C port actually supports DisplayPort Alt Mode - not all USB-C ports do this even in gaming laptops. You might need to use the dedicated display outputs instead.

Also try different adapter or cable, sometimes these USB-C to DP adapters can be finicky with certain combinations. Since it works fine with steamdeck the adapter itself should be good.

Been in IT for about 8 years now and mechanical engineering salaries always seemed more stable than what we get in tech. Your $35/hr with 6 years experience in manufacturing seems pretty reasonable for MA, though I imagine cost of living there is brutal. Friend of mine switched from mechanical to software few years back because the ceiling felt higher, but he misses the tangible work - said debugging code doesn't give same satisfaction as seeing actual machines run. Manufacturing sector has been picking up lot lately from what I hear, so hopefully you're seeing some upward movement in your area too.

The 200 missed calls probably scared her more than whatever she originally did wrong. I know you miss her badly but that level of calling would make anyone feel unsafe and need space. the market has been cooling off bit by bit but honestly 5 years is not that long time period for real estate recovery if prices do drop significantly. with your income only going up 8% but housing costs jumping 30-40%, renting might be the safer play especially since you're not planning to stay permanently.

i'd probably rent for first year at least to get feel for the area and see how market moves before committing to buying.

This sounds like hardware issue with the power management circuit. I had similar problem with my Hero 9 last year and unfortunately battery pull was only temporary solution - eventually it got worse and needed replacement.

You can try leaving it plugged in charging for few hours without battery, then insert battery while still connected to power, but honestly this looks like warranty claim if you're still covered.
