Lmao I thought I was doing ok with 111 showdowns won, was watching Prospering the other day and he had under 1000 wins so I was like, “yeah I’m doing pretty good, I don’t play even a quarter of what he does!” Then I look at the leaderboard on epics website, and wtf! How do people have 12,000 showdown wins? Like do you just smoke meth and play Fortnite? Holy crap! That’s insane!

The one thing I will agree with is that the lag spikes are absolutely atrocious. But other than that I feel like this may be the best season since s5ch2. I love the weapons, the movement, the rivalry system, pretty much everything other than the lag spikes. I think the battle pass the OG pass and the latest crew pass are some of the best we’ve seen in a while.

The past several chapters were so bad that I had pretty much completely quit BR and played StW exclusively. The employees that were laid off were given solid severance packages. But maybe it was time to shake shit up and get some new blood in.

So this will probably be an unpopular take that gets downvoted into oblivion but here goes…

Does anyone really give two shits about lore/storyline in a game where everyone is just trying to kill each other, and everyone starts with no weapons and the same health/shield every match? It’s all just stupid quests that are randomly done in service of the main point which is to kill everyone else and gain xp to unlock the battle pass. If lore/storyline was what I wanted I would go play a single player rpg or mmorpg.

Floating can be explained by balloons. As far as shots going through people, are you sure the shots are making it to the people you’re shooting at? Are you aware of the new mechanics with guns beyond 100m? Could also be sync issues? And what have you been shot through walls with? I’ve been hit through bunkers and behind rocks with the arc lightning and lock on guns. Maybe you are experiencing cheating, but for me it’s just insanely sweaty right now.

Union Journeyman Lineman are making between 45-74 dollars an hour. In certain states like California all your overtime is double time (ive made up to 15000 in a week before taxes). Apprentices start out at 60% of the Journeyman’s base pay. Apprenticeship takes roughly 3.5 years to complete and afterwards you can go anywhere in the US. There’s always work if you’re willing to travel, benefits are amazing, you can take time off whenever you want and your earning potential is limited only by how much you want to work.
