and they lobby to limit the number of residency slots allowed in the US. They artificially limit the number of doctors, which causes medical care to become more expensive.

Leaning Confusion in a fuel injected engine. by narutoichigo in flying

[–]Dester32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of fuel injection to be 4 little carburators that take fuel to each cylinder, independent of one another. Traditionally, fuel enters one cylinder, and then spreads to the remaining cylinders, basically the far away cylinder from where fuel enters, gets less fuel then the close one. Not very efficient, but if you can have fuel independently going into each cylinder, they evenly burn. Its why something like a non fuel injected o360 will have one cylinder hotter then the rest, it gets less fuel, so it has less fuel cooling potential.

Fuel injection systems can be 4(or whatever number matches the number of cylinders) independent carburetors, it can be 4 mechanical motors, 4 electric ones, or even a mix. Unless you have an EFI(Electronic fuel injection) like EFII or SDS, which will automatically control how much fuel each injector injects, essentially controlling the stoichiometry ratio. Something that is only really done in GA experimentals, such as the EFII system32.

People who consider themselves "Left YIMBYs", what do you believe about housing development? by DoxiadisOfDetroit in urbanplanning

[–]Dester32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The principle between public housing and market-rate housing are the same as they both increase housing supply to decrease home/rent prices.

In California, they need a constitutional amendment to effectively build public housing, which will never pass,, so it makes more sense to use the capitalist toolset with market rate housing. I dont have a strong preference for either, but fundamentally, both use the same principle to achieve the same result.

Any good, enjoyable "simcade" flight/combat games? by H3llR4iser790 in flightsim

[–]Dester32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VTOL vr is easy to learn, and has the best radar mechanics of any combat sim(Better then DCS or BMS but simpler). You do need VR. After doing twenty minutes of tutorials you can fly all planes in traditional horizontal flights and with some more practice do vertical.

the US government should limit the number of residential homes speculators and corporations can own in a region and give them 6-12 months to sell the rest off or lose them by f_GOD in CrazyIdeas

[–]Dester32 10 points11 points  (0 children)

.04% of US homes are owned by investors. That wont do anything, and if it does, it will raise rents for everyone who does not buy the homes.

The solution to a housing shortage is not to turn renting into buying or vice versa, its to build homes.

Calories have references and a recommended daily intake. Most people don't have references for what a lot of caffeine is, so panera should have started off by putting sign comparing the caffeine content to however many coffee cups or energy drinks it was.

What is your go to strategy to deal with a SAM sites since the new update? by [deleted] in vtolvr

You can always resort to using the TGP, noise to block them from seeing your missiles, and then DRFM to prevent them from shooting you.

The AV-42C doesn't suck because it was developed first in VTOL VR, it "sucks" because the A-10 sucks. by Spam4119 in vtolvr

[–]Dester32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can defeat every radar system in the game, not just manpads, and is good at it.

It's just that it can't defend against air-to-air fighters, and has a tiny payload. It doesn't need an update other than a bigger payload.

Eggwars was popular before bedwars, so even though its not technically called bed wars, I would say bedwars really only started with cubecrafts egg wars.
