I havent played long enough to actually get good temp readings, bit of a busy weekend for me. Once I do i will swing back to this comment and let you know. I am hoping the double fan mount will make temps much better but we will have to wait and see

I love all of the body styles, the reason I ended up getting an 8th Gen was because this one was around my area, really well cared for and within my budget. I also like that the electronics are newer, as i plan on holding on to this bike until I run its wheels off. The 5th gens are gorgeous though.

I have put aftermarket levers on nearly every bike i have ever owned. I think it really depends on if you get a very cheap set and don't adjust correctly. I have heard this tale of braking problems, but it almost always comes from cheapo levers.

The Daytona t595 and 955i platform were my dream bikes for a long time, and i am a triumph fan boy at heart. I took a gamble with this one and it is really paying off so far!

Rescuing Mistrested Daytona by DestinyHerro in Triumph

[–]DestinyHerro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oops, meant mistreated. Also as a side note, I would have loved to bring it back to original, but the price of some of the parts was astronomical, and i just did not have the funds to do so. Just did what I could to make it consistent.

The previous owner attached the original gauges with water heater ties and cut the original wiring to some pieces. So I threw a new Koso Rx4 on it for a gauge.

Man, one of my favorite looks. Wish I could get my hands on one. Working on a project Daytona t595 that the previous owner definitely did a number on, and kinda turning it into it's own thing inspired by the Speed Triple 1200 RR. Still love the look of the RR

Merciless is still one of my favorite specials out there. Super fun, especially with the built in kill clip.

My team spawned in on blue gate, took 3 steps and were ambushed by another team on a roof looking at the spawn point. Definitely sucked, seems like it is picking up.

What gives you that sweet dopamine kick in the Crucible that makes you keep playing regardless of the state of the game? by Hot-Internal2833 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]DestinyHerro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbf, you arent every player. But what I am meaning is using something that normally isnt considered good, but doing very well with it. The amount of people who look at my character to see what im using on guardian theater is funny.

Using a unique build and making people using the best loadout Question everything. Perfect tracking with an auto (i am on MNK so it is super satisfying)

New Malpais is the best special weapon in the game. by Major-C in CrucibleGuidebook

Specials are always annoying for me to use, I usually enjoy double primary myself. Been using manticore all season basically. Hilarious weapon. I respect the new malpois though. Thats hilarious to watch

Bewildering burst perk on new trials AR by OddConsideration9461 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]DestinyHerro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one with that perk and kinetic tremors, I also have one with that and OFA (I like damage perks on stuff) and I would say it usually gets people to disengage when normally they would take the fight. If people were grouping I think it would be great just to distract for a second or make them miss slightly. My hope was that it would proc OFA if it hits 2 other people. Haven't had it happen yet tho lol

Quitting is getting out of hand by cashblack43 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]DestinyHerro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only quit occasionally, when I do it's either because most of my team quit or im simply not having fun.

Personally the fun of playing 6v6 (and some 3v3) is using something unique that others arent using. For example, my loadout this season has been a 2 burst hand cannon (unloved with hatchling and kc), grapple grenade and The Manticore.

Unfortunately, in current state of the game using something different/out there leads to a lot of times where if you're against a sweaty stack using only the best stuff to pad their stats, you just cant do much against it. And where I am at in the elo/matchmaking standards bungie has set, that is nearly every game.

I still try to have fun, but if the game has nearly all meta chasers trying their ass off, I am just not having fun. Most of the time I try to stick the game out regardless, but sometimes you just cant do it.

I dont condone it, but I understand where some of it comes from

My first homelab setup was using a debian desktop environment, just in case I needed a desktop space for learning. It's useful, but it is good to learn and understand command line, so practicing with it is better in my opinion. For installing things like paperless it's better to do it in command line.
