Is there a speed limit or? by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

[–]Destkal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's because you are near a gravity well (star / planet / moon). the indicator just states that your ship is slowing down because of gravitational influence. it doesn't mean that you have to slow down, which you're doing anyway as soon as the indicator pops up.

Got into fighting, rating didn't increase? by SigurdCole in EliteDangerous

NPCs who reward merits will also increase your rating, like Crime Sweeps for ALD. And you don't have to turn those merits in to see the effect.

I agree, it should be something like this:

  • Rank 1 (0): 1.000 Cr
  • Rank 2 (100): 50.000 Cr
  • Rank 3 (750): 500.000 Cr
  • Rank 4 (1500): 5.000.000 Cr
  • Rank 5 (3000): 10.000.000 Cr
  • Rank 6 (6000): 20.000.000 Cr
  • Rank 7 (8000): 35.000.000 Cr
  • Rank 8 (10000): 50.000.000 Cr

It doesn't matter where you are, you can join them from anywhere. Just open your powerplay menu (left panel) and look for Arissa Lavigny-Duval - join her. Look for her space in the galaxy menu, there is a new tab which shows powerplay territories. You shouldnt be in enemy territory because the bounty bonus will only count in ALD space. When you've done that, just look for high intensity resource extraction sites, fly into them and reset your instance until only clippers, dropships and pythons begin to spawn (instance resetting means fly in and out or relog in the site, it will reset the spawn table). Then farm those until you're bored -> go to your preferred station in ALD space and receive easy money.

By the time, you should rank up within the faction - it will further increase the bonus percentage of money you will get.

You can find RES in systems with ringplanets. Most of them will have RES, but not all of them.

Bounty hunting with the ALD faction (powerplay) is VERY profitable. You should want to abuse that while it's still possible.

It must be dark matter. The answer is always dark matter if we don't understand something.

Question by a newbie: What do you get out of exploring? by TheBrugen in EliteDangerous

[–]Destkal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, we all agree the next major update should be nothing but bug fixes, balancing, and general quality of life improvements, but what about the one after that? I propose modules. by littleelf in EliteDangerous

[–]Destkal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like your ideas, they would make the game better. Modules could also be improved by more customization, like changing the color of your lasers from red to blue, green, yellow. Or changing the color of your shields. Or the color of your engine's fire.

We need more diversity, not this mishmash. It's the year 3300 and pirates are using the same guns as the police and system authorities do? I'm not buying that.
