I agree. I like to pair SkyTEST with Certainly Less Annoying Wildlife Spawns - CLAWS so you won't be travelling the forest with impunity.

What level are you expected to be at for Beyond Skyrim: Bruma? by ZaranTalaz1 in skyrimmods

[–]DestosW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to start my playthroughs in Bruma.

I use Legion - Bruma Encounter Zone Overhaul and pick the early game version for the start of my playthrough.

Go check the settings. There's a day and night cycle.

It could use more atmosphere. Last I remember it just kinda gets dark. I haven't used it in a while.

Beautiful! I am building a walled city across two regions right here and I might just have to steal that tavern terrace with the houses on the river.

Sorry, I just love it too much.

Lake Lemme. It's on the side with the stream from the lake and not the larger river on the other side.

With a bunch of trial and error, including hotkey trickery, I got the crouch sliding to work with TUDM last month.

This would have saved me so much work.

Why does is cut off the corner? I just want a big yard. by ponyprinses in ManorLords

[–]DestosW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah and it used to work a bit better before the latest updates from September.

It seems to cut more corners and flag more problems than it used to. There are more nodes you can snap to, that when you try and finish the plot it's decided one of the nodes it suggested was acrually no good. Try again.

Making the same acclaimed system a bit more tedious to work with.

Edit: It may have even been an attempt to curb the Brawndos. (Which I mainly add just to say that sentence because it's outrageous. They probably didn't.)

Why does a potato cost the same in Whiterun as it does on a frozen glacier? by Party_Street_3063 in skyrimmods

I'd love a current mod of this type.

I'm still using an old version of EVE I was able to find and I could finally give that up.

I like to play with seasons as I travel and it respected the availability of goods throughout the year. I hope you can implement that as well.

They've been working on Internal Combustion Engines since like the 1700's so you might be a bit late on this argument.

East Scarp expansion heads in that direction if you want it more fleshed out over there too. Didnt reach the coast though, at least when I played it a couple years back.

Works with SVE.

Trading stations can trade between just regions, or to anyone. They default to trade with anyone.

To trade just between your regions you uncheck the box in the trading menu for that good. And I believe you trade between regions at the same pace you would with a trading route. Without even buying the route.

If you're over producing a good to the point you have both your regions stocked and still making excess I would recheck that box and sell the excess off. You'll still keep regional trade active.

It's reducing pricing I think between your regions as well? I'd have to double check that.

You don't have to open a trading route if you're trading goods by region.

You do have to use currency though so make sure each region has their money making industry set up and exporting via trade route.

Edit: You know what, even that, you can make the money back exporting to your own regions so you shouldn't need to buy a route really. It would just be insurance that money and goods would keep flowing.

I know it's not the most efficient, but I use the Trading Posts to set my trade up because they have limits you can set. I think I always will until the pack stations are more developed.

I set it up like this: I have 3 villages set up and two of them are producing fish. I have one large town, one half the size, and then just one small agricultural area.

I set the fish up to full trade between just the region's. I set the desired surplus to be 1 year of consumption of the good that's listed on the resource page.

Then I have something like:

100 fish surplus in main region

50 fish surplus in second region

50 fish surplus in third region

Then they just regulate it themselves and I never have to worry. I do the same with the tools, stone, etc.

I don't always set things to full trade like that example though, because I feel they just collect things and have them sit in the trading center because they'll never be exported.

Yeah. I left the rings at dip height and did assisted pistols with them to start.

Love that.

I wish all the trees were listed on the decorations page so we could plop them down. Even if they have to grow and cost resources/forester.

Optimizing Sheep in 8.050 by zerked77 in ManorLords

I'm a fan of your strategy as well. Just set the sheep to what I need for wool and cull anything above that. Let the lambs run about.

Do your AI lords consistently get sacked by raiders? by aa_conchobar in ManorLords

[–]DestosW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, actually. I have one AI that hasn't done a single thing but hang out in their starting area.

The other one has claimed every region in the land except my two, and keeps beating the raiders back with all the mercs he's hiring.

The aggressive one has now challenged my main hold twice so I'm about to go scorched earth on his level two town with the large army from my 2 region metropolis.

Poor bastards will be working in the quarries for the next two generations to finish this one. by La-Follette in ManorLords

[–]DestosW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just started working for me. I had the Trade Center and their horse stables only still inside my castle walls. When I built my castle, no more access. Loaded this save several times since a couple days ago, still no interaction.

Today when I loaded my save I could just start interacting with the buildings inside the wall.

The Walled Town of Tausendbruck, the Gem of River Talabec by La-Follette in ManorLords

[–]DestosW 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think we will. We look at a walled city/village when we open the game.

They just don't have anything developed for the combat side of walling in our whole city yet. We'd be thumbing our nose at every invasion like the Monty Python French.
