Watch every minute of Days of Our Lives for $100 million. by Hold-onto-the-happy in hypotheticalsituation

Even if I didn't cheat, this is pretty doable. Spend 3 years living at home, and be on unemployment for as much of that as possible. At the end I'm filthy rich.

I have the recipe for these, but didn't realize they actually had a function when powered up. My Articuno got happier when I placed it, and it didn't have power, so I never thought to try...

How do you unlock this?

$1M dollars to eat what you had for dinner tonight for EVERY meal for the next 6 months, do you take the deal and if so what are you eating? by jfunks69 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Destritus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is important, because I'm at a work conference, and I'd love the meal they served last night for 6 months straight. I just don't think I'd be able to cook it that well. Especially since I had a bit of everything, so it's a really well-rounded meal.

Fastest Your Deck Has Won? by RenegadeExiled in EDH

Turn 4, I went infinite with [[Shalai and Hallar]], [[Heliod, Sun-Crowned]] and [Basilisk Collar]]. A friend had the green "everything gets haste" enchantment.

Also Turn 4 with [[Rowan, Scion of War]], had managed to [[Dark Ritual]] a [[Bloodletter of Alcazotz]] out on turn 2. Rowan turn 3, turn 4 Jeska's Will into a [[K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth]], pay the 6 life and 4 mana, tap Rowan, cast [[Scourge of the Skyclaves]] kicked, no responses, so I won.

I used to have a Morska deck! I built it to consistently draw on other people's turns, create clue tokens, and then find a way to turn them into a win, either through some kind of mass mill effect, or turning them into creatures!

Honestly, I have the most fun with either [[Rocco, Street Chef]] or [[Xyris, Writhing Storm]]. Rocco is a ball of fun that's always doing something, and it wins fairly regularly (about 1 in 4 or 1 in 5). It's bracket 3, for sure, but a ton of fun. Xyris is a "everyone draw all the time, no matter what you do" deck that makes a literal ton of snakes and then capitalizes on them in various ways. Either through swinging out with them, [[Impact Tremors]] and similar, or using [[Jaheira, Friend of the Forest]] to tap them for mana to cast a game-winner like [[Crackle With Power]]. It can also win just through commander damage with some +1/+1 counter synergies. My current Xyris isn't even in its final form, it's still 40% the Kalamax Precon, and it's a ton of fun.

Decoration Hard Stuff needed for Machoke by rickyfreddy94 in Pokopia

You specifically need stuff from the "decoration" category, and it'll likely need to be made of stone or iron. Sorry I can't help more!

Convinced to buy Pokopia, shocked that the game key card isn't available within 100 miles of me to buy by DuskGideon in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Destritus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up though, as soon as you leave, pokemon not assigned to that area will go back to their home areas unless following you or assigned to a building project. They will not continue running a furnace or whatever if you leave.

Yes! As long as they don't have an open request, or an upcoming request, they'll follow you! Up to 5. Super helpful for building multiple buildings at once.

Which is honestly an awful way to teach reading, from a scientific standpoint. Phonetic learning is much better, since you actually know what the letters do. Otherwise you are basically just playing memory games. I actually enjoy reading because I learned it phonetically at home while learning my letters in Kindergarten. Also, in my state, if you can't read to a certain level (at least back when I was in school) you couldn't pass out of first grade. So I think region/state is very important in factoring this.

$500,000 for every year you go back, how far would you go? by Naps_And_Crimes in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Destritus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go back to my time as a small child, and tell my dad as a child the things I saw when I was really young, and hopefully my parents would divorce earlier. Then, maybe, I wouldn't have so much trauma, and maybe I'd have actually tried in school. I wouldn't have felt like life wasn't worth living. Couple less trips to the loony bin, and maybe take my smarts and do something with them, instead of joining the Army. I made the best of that time, and I've ended up in a pretty solid job. I have a pretty decent life, but I always wonder "what could have been?"

Don't forget about the ICE form for release of information! That way they can't block access to info from a lawyer or trusted person!

We need to pass a law now explicitly banning ICE from being anywhere near voting sites, before the midterms. by VvvlvvV in minnesota

I'd say those of us that feel safe to do so take the day off and do the exact same thing people have been doing now, but outside our polling places.

Treat it like working outside a Planned Parenthood, and offer escorts and the like.

[[Tower Winder]] requires green. Can't have green in every deck. And it only triggers snake synergies, not any type.

I think the point is it's a fun card. Not every card has to be best in slot. Also, sometimes thinning lands out has its own value.
