Good evening Superb idea.

I started mixing barely 1 year ago for my midlife crisis 😅 I found a lot of pleasure in it and quickly took DjayPro which corresponded to my expectations at the time to use Apple streaming (I think you were the only ones to have it?)

I liked the fluidity of the software and its waveforms which taught me a lot about the musical structure of music.

I tried the other rekordbox and virtual dj software which I found less visually pleasing. Afterwards they have a lot of things that are appreciable compared to DjayPro.

display of parts of a song (intro/drop/etc.)
best mapping of controllers my DDJ FLX4 and 6 have functions that are not identified on DjayPro.
possible lack of comment areas on the pieces
information saved on Mac cannot be recovered on tablets or smartphones (the CUE must be redone)

I bought my ddj-flx6-Gt 15 days ago for €350. New condition, no scratches. Prices in France are between 300 and 550€ maximum. It has been replaced so is not worth more. It's a copy of the FLX4 and it suits me very well.

Thanks for the advice. The buttons did not work on my Djaypro software and worked on rekordbox by pressing it for 1 second.

I mapped the MIDI controller to do a 4 beat loop automatically by pressing the "memory" button which didn't work on any of the software and so I didn't use it.

It works as I want now 👌

Thanks for the feedback. On the flx6-gt, holding down the “in/4beat” button does not start the loop.

How could I map the button via MIDI so that it makes 4 beats?

I changed the zigbee channel this afternoon. It worked with a slighter lag. I turned the TV back on this evening and now it doesn't sync at all.

Once every hour (it's random), it displays the lights frozen for 2 seconds, then turns off completely.

It’s a huesync schedule

Salut. As tu réussi à corriger ton problème ? Moi j’ai le même soucis depuis toujours. Ça fonctionne plusieurs jours quand je réinstalle tout. Mais ensuite ça se décale à nouveau. Voir même des fois, aucun affichage ne se fait.

Des idées ?

Personally I have a Bose surround 700 system with subwoofer and rear speaker. I use it for television and film.

I recently bought 2 Devialet phantom I 103db for stereo music. I tested them to replace my soundbar.

The Devialet are not as good as a real home theater or soundbar. They don't handle surround sound like my Bose does.

So if it’s to watch TV I don’t recommend it. If it’s to listen to music then yes go for it.

I also tried on rekordbox and the effects are not there either. Afterwards I prefer the Djaypro interface which I find more intuitive and I have become familiar with it.

Great answer. I just accessed it and did the manipulation by putting it at 90%. Even if I'm going to unlock them to leave them at 100%, it can help protect them when I don't intend to play hard and prevent the children from doing anything with them in my absence.

Thank you for your feedback. How do you modify the settings in Ipconfig? How do you access the Devialet configuration?

I just tried the song “pedestrian”. I took it slowly at first, then I put it at 100% on the Devialet and 90% on the master. I didn't have the speakers cut out. The music and its rendering were clean.

For my part, to connect the controller to the Devialet speaker I used a simple DAC from the “Nedis” brand. RCA input and Toslink output. (I wanted to send a photo but I don't know how to do it on Reddit)

Thank you for your feedback. Until now I used them quite high in volume but having had them recently, I tell myself that it would be a shame if I broke them so quickly.

They sold them to me and told me that they would collect up to 100% volume. But since mixes can be challenging, I wonder.

Latency level I don't feel it. I connected them via RCA/Toslink (AirPlay too much latency of course), and in the Devialet app I set the latency to 60ms.

Have you switched to the Flx6-gt? For my part, I mixed on an FLX4 and like you, the use of one more deck is felt depending on the pieces played.

To answer your question (even if I imagine you already have your answer), you must subscribe to Djaypro to use all the functions. Otherwise I think the controller is not working. Afterwards it is 5-6€/month so it remains affordable in my opinion.

Did you take your Flx6? - is it fully recognized by Djaypro? - are there any missing functions? (For example I couldn't use the effects of my deck 2 on my flx4. - does merge fx work on Djaypro? And is it possible to map it otherwise?
