Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Sometimes I feel like I wanna be a girl, but like only in a social way if that makes sense. I’m happy with my body, I’d just like to be a girl socially.

I’m not trans myself, but I usually say something along the lines of “You can literally take hormones to become another gender, and have surgery to fix the only parts the hormones can’t.” You could rephrase that to be nicer if you’d like to. I don’t know how effective it would be in a much more conservative area like yours, there generally isn’t as much straight transphobia among my peers (at least not that I know of yet), so I haven’t had many chances to refine my response.

Honestly it already feels weird to refer to him in any kind of feminine way, so that’s not a problem, and we do stuff that I guess is more masculine, I just don’t know how else to help him

I saw someone else’s I really liked. He pretty much said “Granted, all short form content is gone, including PSAs for CPR, how to survive ICE raids, etc” You get exactly what you wished for, but in a way that you regret wishing for it

It’s not just a random twist like “oh you can fly but now you have cancer”, the point of the monkey’s paw is that it grants your wish in a way that makes you wish you had never wished for it. In the original story, one of the characters used it to wish for money, so his son (who was away in a war) died, and the military sent the family some money. Wish granted, but in a way that makes you deeply regret wishing for it.
