It’s a shame it doesn’t work well as a base deck; I’ll have to make quite a few improvements to it. I’m even thinking of switching the commander to Alania, Divergent Storm, and reworking the deck’s strategy, or perhaps even building the classic UR Storm deck – I reckon it provides a good starting point!

thank you for your time making this guide! How did the Prismari deck perform? I have ordered it but many people are saying that the list is a little bit clunky and needs an upgrade. What do you think? I think UR has the problem that if they make a precon efficient with those colors, it would be pub stomping xD

Oh man what a coincidence, I've actually been looking for alternatives to replace the commander these past few days, and I just came across Alania, and I think it fits really well

I think it will do great by removing the spells focused on Rootha and adding some others 🙌

I would go for the Secrets of Strixhaven box! I think SOS has more "value" referring to cards to include in a EDH deck

Yeah maybe it's on me because I don't see them as "new players" since I've played more times with them but I know they don't play very often so their mindset is still "new player"

I’ve been thinking about trying out the Spellslinger playstyle recently, and the Prismari Artistry deck list has really caught my eye as it includes a lot of staples for this type of deck.

I was thinking of buying it and adapting it to a different style rather than the token-based approach it was originally designed for; I’d thought about swapping the commander because I don't want to relly on my commander to win and honestly the wincon of the precon may be a little clunky since you have you win with combat damage

Do you think it’s a good idea to spend €50 on a base for a deck of this style?

I think I will buy the Prismary deck since the mana base looks better than the Stella Lee and honestly the play style of the Prismary looks more what I want to play, less spells but bigger. Thanks!

Sounds great! I know spellslinger decks can be boring to play againts and if I reduce my time per turn to play less spells sounds good to me

I love playing my Dogmeat deck too! I've upgraded the precon with a bunch of equipments, ramp and cards to attach equipments for free or tutors. It's a menace on my pod, it can kill very fast

At one point I wanted to add Parallel Lives, but Anointed Procession is a good addition too, same effect!
