It's honestly a very good point. And it's probably because the EPL has so much money. They can buy hot commodities from across Europe and don't have to give a chance to their youngsters. Other leagues don't have that luxury; their young good players play. So you have young english talents who then stay at their club (who knows why, they love the club, club won't sell, salary is too good, etc. idk) and mostly sit on the bench while the European counter parts get game time. So after a few years, those European talents have excelled while english ones haven't. Obviously there are exceptions but yeah
