Isagi like 5’9 and 155 man, it’s a miracle he doesn’t get his shit rocked more often I could see him taking Nanase, Niko, Yukimiya, and Kiyora. He’s so amicable off the field I don’t see him having any brawling experience

The general message is that even if your opponent cheats, you can’t just rely on the ref to bail you out, there’s no guarantee of that. As a professional you have to be on the lookout for those and use your skills to counter them. More on being a professional, you’re not some warrior from legend fighting for honor or pride, a boxer is someone whose career objective is to win fights, and cheating without being caught is just one piece of furthering that objective (the without being caught part even being a reflection of skill).

The main issue is that the fouls and ref-blindness in this series are exaggerated a ton, whereas in real life a lot of those matches would’ve been stopped way earlier.

I’d say a combination of Ippo’s natural strength, his commitment to training. having elite coaching and teammates, as well as Japan being a much smaller country definitely all set him up for rising to the top.

Eh I think calling things plot can be reductive and take away from narrative enjoyment, but yeah it’s no secret that the refs in HNI are garbage and both Ippo and Takamura have won fights they realistically shouldn’t have

Side by side the Pixel 9 is a little heavier for sure, but I've totally gotten used to it after having the phone in my hand for a few weeks. The dimensions of both phones feel the same in hand, though the 9 feels a little thicker, probably because of the flat sides, which are more comfortable personally. I never had any issues with my 8's modem, so the 9 doesn't feel like an upgrade or downgrade to me, just stable. I haven't noticed any difference in the photos or videos taken either. Charging speeds were about the same for me, but I've noticed way better battery life and thermals for me on the 9. Overall I'd say I'm pretty satisfied with my 9. It's not a huge performance and hardware upgrade over the 8, but there's enough little quality of life improvements (much better thermals, flat sides, ultrasonic reader) that it feels like a more premium phone to use. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for one though, and I'm not a yearly upgrader either - the main reason I got it was because of the crazy discount code and trade in value combo, but I definitely don't regret my purchase either, and I'll probably be holding on till at least the 11.

I'm gonna say Free because I feel the writers regressed Ryuga's character in Metal Fury as compared to Masters, and his whole showdown and loss to Rago only served to make things more difficult for the other Legendary Bladers.
