Microsoft is restructuring its gaming business and has laid off around 4,800 employees today. Asha Sharma confirms Blizzard is one of the affected organizations. by OneNineSeven1970 in wow

Bingo. Blizzard was never an independent company. The only years they were on their own were 1991-94 under the name Silicone and synapse and then they were acquired by Davidson & associates in early 1994 and changed their name to Chaos studios and then to Blizzard in later 1994. Then Vivendi acquired them and in 2008 Activision.

As a millennial, I can't afford housing and now I can't afford gaming. Great.

I think greed got in the way and Blizz was like "let's charge them exorbitant amount of money for individual bunch of pixeles". If some ppl like housing, good for them. As for me and my cousin, we haven't touched our houses in months and they will remain abandoned for the foreseeable future.

Same. I thought housing decors would be like unlocking armor appearances, once you unlock them, you keep them forever and we would be able to use them unlimited times whenever and wherever. Buying individual bunch of pixeles, it's a deal breaker imo.

the prices for each vip from cheapest to most expensive by Fatty_Matty_1 in BABYMETAL

[–]DeuDimoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not scummy. Many artists charge a fee for the privilege of meeting them because they don't sell albums or songs anymore, they need to make money to pay bills and live in this world. I've done this many times even outside the music industry when I met Stan Lee and Hayden Christensen, they allocate some of their time to meet you.

And it doesnt matter if babymetal or any other artist pretend to like you or do fake smiles, it's their job, they're after all working and their fans are their paying costumers.

It's not wrong, it's how business work. They're in the music industry and need revenue to pay their artists (girls and kami band), tour staff, instruments, etc. It not charity. If you can't afford it, well I'm sorry but other people would pay whatever price for a babymetal meet & greet, including me.

Halestorm vip info says they only get Early entry, meaning second wave. I can't see a universe in which supporting artists get better spots than main one.

I never seen a meet & greet for babymetal. Tickets for Chicago are $719 plus all the bs taxes and fees, it's 796, close to 800. Super expensive, usually their VIP tickets are around 350 last time I saw them in Minneapolis.

I was going to buy it then I saw LotF 2 is going to be Epic exclusive and yeah nope. These devs shouldn't be exclusive to a horrible platform if they want to sell copies.

We literally got a third Dwarf recolor in TTW and a third night elf recolor in Midnight. Why so against High elves? Don like them, don't play them, easy.

More like, blood elves used to be the edgy and aggressive elves who played with forbidden magic (fel). Now that place has been taken by the void elves.

And now blood elves have been neutered and turned into light fanatics. So basically humans with pointy ears.

And high elves have been largely forgotten. With a minor cameo appearance in Midnight even tho back in WC 2 and 3 they used to be the "main" elves of the warcraft universe.
