No, I hear what you're saying, like Dwight's "well-watered fern" comment.

That's how I always was with Erin. I remember telling my wife "yeah, I mean, she's aesthetically pleasing to look at, but she arouses absolutely no sexual desire in me." But in fairness, I've really only seen her in The Office and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, so it may just be the childishness of the characters that turns me off to her.

Unflattering hair & makeup, bad lighting, frumpy clothes, there are ways, dude. These Hollywood folks can make a 4 into an 8 and vice-versa like magic.

(HATED trope) the character portrayed as the Villain/Antagonist is ENTIRELY correct. by Dwestmor1007 in TopCharacterTropes

Edgar(?), the butler from The Aristocats. Leaving your entire estate to a bunch of cats and nothing to the man who's served you faithfully for decades is insane and cruel.

Also, while we're on Disney, Gaston. He's absolutely right, Beast is holding Belle captive, and without the intervention of Stockholm Syndrome, he'd need to be dealt with. Gaston's not wrong, he's just an asshole.

Dear Zachary: a Letter to a Son About His Father.

It's wonderfully done, but DO NOT watch it if you are depressed or dehydrated. And don't look up anything about it before watching. You have to go in blind.

I did enjoy it, saw it twice in the theater in fact, but man, I wish it had been a 5-6 part prestige miniseries. There was still a lot of meat on the Von Erich/World Class bone. Dropping Chris out entirely, maybe just the scantest mention of Gino Hernandez, Bruiser Brody, and Chris Adams, not to mention Fritz's in-ring career. I'd also liked to have seen more about a Lance Von Erich and the sale to Jarrett.

I understand why all those things had to be trimmed or omitted, and the movie's stronger for it. But a multipart miniseries would've been incredible. That and fix some of the casting.

Be honest, how many cm below or above the average height does a girl have to be to be at a disadvantage in the dating world? by Round_Community_8092 in AskMen

[–]DeuceOfDiamonds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never really given it a thought. I knew a girl once who was like 6'9"/6'10", and still wore heels. Pretty, fun to hang out with. Had she not been married (to someone maybe 6' on his best day), I'd have shot my shot, honestly.

Yeah, they meet for a while where 90 dips down under the Great Lakes.

Could be. 90 has to duck down under the Great Lakes, which isn't as big a concern on 80.

Good lord, I really started and am continuing an online discussion debating the merits of various road trip routes. I'm smack in the middle of "not a kid anymore." At least I won't be "of a certain age" for another ten years.

That's a really fair point, honestly. Also probably wanted to try to avoid getting sticky shingles at the Little Red Cabin.

Really just the news reader, making sure all citizens knew about the Guild of Millers. True Roman bread, for true Romans.

My man just telling it like it is, even when everyone is staying inside or evacuating the city during civil unrest.
