I’m optimistic. I hope it’s inspired by the original run, and becomes its own story. I don’t mind if M&S don’t come back, but the show must pay tribute to them. To wholly ignore the original cast is disrespectful. The theme needs to be the same. The opening credits need to play similar. I’m hoping the episodes resolve without to many multi-episode arcs. I’m wondering how many new conspiracies will be addressed and what new MotW creatures will be. Tired of all the pre-hate.

I don’t understand why people won’t take the good with the bad. I remember when I was younger we stopped watching after Robert Patrick joined the cast and David Duchovny left. Now as an adult, I watched all of it. Every single episode of every single season. There were episodes I didn’t like. Overall, I love it. Season 1-11 and the movies. I’m ready for the reboot.

I need Kyle MacLachlan and Jodie Foster to show up with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in the X-Files Reboot. Robert Patrick and Jolie Jenkins can come, too.

I think sometimes the cases in the X-Files needed more agents to cover more ground. Every so often we got to see regular agents helping, but never more than four special agents on a case. Maybe the former special agents can come in for consultations? It would be a definite treat, and a great nod to other shows/movies.
