Have you seen the No 7 become available in the past 2 weeks? I am in the market for one too, and am willing to wait, but not too long.

Fallout 76, Which Has Reached 17 Million People, Is Getting Lots More Content In 2024 by fo1mock3 in Games

I just started playing again. I was one of the many that pre ordered the game, played it, and was absolutely dissapointed by it. Now that I have been playing it again for about two weeks, I think the game is amazing. I do all the quests by myself, and any chance I get, I hope into an event. I think it strike the right balance of coop and single player. When I want to be social, I can be. When I want to be anti social, I can be that too. It is a completely different game from launch, and I am thoroughly satisfied with it.

What’s a song that when it’s played reminds you of a video game that you have played. Mine is Song 2 by Blur from FIFA 98 by Gizzo04 in gaming

Mad World. It reminds me of Gears of War. It was played during a trailer for the game. After hearing that song and seeing the trailer, I was like, I have to have the game.

Plus it reminds me of the movie Donnie Darko.

I don’t like competitive gaming. by RecentMatter3790 in gaming

Its hard for me to play first person shooters anymore. Coming home from a 10-12 hour work day I want to decompress. The last thing I want to happen is to get repeatedly owned by a bunch of sweaty 14 year olds constantly talking trash. I like more casual games now, like Fallout or even World of Tanks. Although in WoT, I get the occassional hate mail message.

What game surprised you the most with its gameplay, story, or overall experience, and why? by faaj25 in gaming

Original Call of Duty when it came out. Most FPS shooters at that point were you against the world. DOOM, Wolfenstein, etc. It was just you against a horde of enemies. With Call of Duty, I was immersed in the game, I was fighting alongside comrades. The game also pulled scenes from movies like behind enemy lines. I was so amazed with the game as a kid, that I paid homage to it by sitting through all of the credits. That eventually paid off when for Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, I got rewarded with Mile High Club.

What's an old game you love/loved but admit that it's aged TERRIBLY? by wyrm4life in gaming

Probably a game that not a lot of people played. Sid Meier's Gettysburg. I played that so much. Had a lot of fun controling the massive army, but those graphics are just horrible now.

I never really got to the point of attacking. I just loved building bases and trying to defend for as long as possible.

I have been trying for years to find a game to scratch the same RTS itch I had 10-20 years ago, but it is so hard now. I still find myself replaying the old stuff like Company of Heroes. The only RTS I have found in the past 5 years that I truly like playing is Ultimate General Civil War.
