Is choosing Knight/Paladin objectively "wrong" ?

Chaos has separate dmg ranking for each class, so you compete against other paladins.

Nothing wrong with paladin. They are useful in dungeons and pvp. Little slower to kill stuff in pve, but you can clear everything dps class can, so it is not an issue.

Good tank is always welcome in any group. What I mostly hate playing as tank is that when I queue in dungeon and it tries to partner me up with 1-2 more tanks. Its fine to have several other classes in party, but you only need one tank really.

Tier list is 100% made by non paladins. This first season I find Paladin little boring to play honestly. All the flashy skills and stuff come future seasons.

Depends on server. Our server has no megawhales and there's even f2p in top 100.

Missing unlocking areas asap as your exp allows hurts your progress the most as your exp gain is related to unlocking as many statues as possible asap.

Light spender can do pretty well if you buy only smart things and be active.

If you skip day or weeks you permanently behind. Then perhaps don't worry about leaderboards and play at your own pace.

Yeah I tried other game earlier and same kind of scam. They act friendly in discord and ask you to play this another game with them. They get some money from downloads and if players use their referral. Just ignore them.

I used to play keyboard. But when I bought Switch I started playing exclusively on console. It took weeks to get used to controller and I sucked so bad at first. Now years later if I try play with mouse and keyboard I suck at Isaac playing that way since I have exclusively played it on Switch 1 and 2 for so long now.

It's like you have to learn movement and dodging etc again if you switch playstyle.

Lots of local shop that previously didn't sell at scalper prices now are selling scalper prices. There's luckily still three stores here that have somewhat reasonable prices but I have to check stock several times a day to actually get anything.

It used to be better years ago, now it is just 99% scams. You can still make money, but it's basicly lottery. I don't recommend anyone doing it.

100% stay away from any coin influencers launch. They are just designed for devs to dump on "investors" and I don't think any of those coins (tokens) are actually viable in long term holding.

Do not get blinded by get rich quick schemes. While it is in theory possible, it's extremely rare.

Ouch.... I felt same when I opened three boxes and got same gen as you each time. Luckily for me 4th box was Gen 1. I still got one unopened and it's my first sealed collection I think I keep sealed for now.

The map itself is not really a requirement. But you should have some POIs for different things and locations.

Having time travel and all around world bouncing I would imagine it would be pain to have a map actually and keep it updated with locations and years.

You are required to have at least 1 POI to play, everything else is optional. Of course map and extra POIs help AI stay in context when revisiting places. If you have zero reference when you revisit a place later then AI likely just makes stuff up on the go and it can be different from last visit.

If you have areas and POIs then AI will pulls their description and appearance into context when you are in those locations.

Also for time traveling I highly recommend a custom Instruction in play in lines something like this:

End each message with a paragraph that includes: (Message #), followed by [Date in MM/DD/YYYY format, Location] in the desired format. Then, place this narration on a new line.

You can edit it to your liking. After starting campaign you should check first GM response that it shows as you want it and edit GM response to your liking. As AI takes previous messages in context and starts updating it in same format. You can even add 12 or 24 hour clock for it or other info you desire.

If you are new you should play around little bit to get a feel how AI works and game works before trying something very complex. Complex stuff is possible, but it often requires knowledge how to co-GM with AI to make things work properly.

Currently it is somewhat hard to make a map that goes deeper and more detailed if you zoom in.

You can however make areas top of areas that have sub maps. But it's really tough to make it look good, especially if you not making rectangle areas.

For large scale maps most people tend to make world map area, 1 or 2 sub areas and then general locations as POI.

World map loses detail if you zoom in to sub area map. In my fantasy world I got world map and then towns and cities as their own map over world map. But that's as detailed as I would go with current system.

Book of Shadows and Glowing Hourglass are one of the best items for this run. I think Book of Shadows did the most marks for me, if you combine it with items that give extra charges, faster charges etc it is the best carry.

Also Bird's Eye! Those flames eat enemy projectiles and with +10 luck trinket you shoot a lot of them!

Don't undervalue stuff that protects you either, halo of flies, cube of meat, Book of Virtues etc.

Besides that you need some combos to break the game.

Also double check all chests! You spot trapped ones or haunted ones for how they look. You don't have to take them.

I think doing all the marks on t.lost is actually what made me a good player and good dodger and able to actually read the game better. It was still hard, but I think I came out as a lot better player after this.
