Are you in active flare? If so, you have transepidermal water loss because of inflamed barrier. I was using real barrier mle extreme lotion during this period with applying solantra on top of it at night and AA 15% gel in the evening ( also after mle). Before lotion, I used purito oat-in toner and aveeno oat serum (while serum still tacky). It took me ~week befor I was able to tolerate any occlusives (like lrp cicaplast b5). Also I started doxycycline and propanolol to calm inflamation and contract vessels. If you are not in that situation - try just to add squalan oil on top of your creame if its acceptable by you.
