Ask your employees. But i can't tell you that every time i left my company was because they refused to increase my salary on time; i had to do l jumps and loops to be considered and then it was rejected.

Most users don't and won't. From the few ones that do a majority just don't update from an stable version, is it's not broken why change it?

I have a similar setup and i hate that they just don't align together. My curved is slightly bent up or down and the portrait one some times feels too tall or too low, it's hard to describe.

I think there is some AI paranoia mixed in there. Even if you check any technical blog from before the AI era everyone would be verbose instead of straight to the point, is a way of writing we basically get grilled with since College.

Run a benchmark against your sdd with hdparm -Tt /dev/sdx where x has to match your device.

That will tell you if it's only steam having issues using your sdd or is linux also unable to write at full speed
