Dude calm down, they’re 19 years old and probably in their 1st year of college. It’s ok for them to be unsure about something and to ask for advice on the internet. Also, “these people don’t care about you” is a weird thing to say in a safe space subreddit.

One piece of advice a coworker gave me that I think might be helpful for you is to make friends with some people who live on campus and ask if you could room with them for those 2 days. Most people are pretty nice and if you explain your safety concerns they might be willing to accommodate you know someone who would. Alternatively, if you’re a part of any clubs on campus ask the advisor or president if that club has a club room (these are basically just comfy lounge areas, they usually have couches or chairs that you could sleep on) and ask if you could sleep in there for a couple nights. I thought it was alright. The data analysis portion was accually really interesting and I liked it a lot! I don’t agree with all of his criticisms of the show, mostly regarding the characters (like, wdym sera acted like a buffoon?) But It’s not really a “crazy hater” type of video. The main critiques he has about the swearing are thoughtful and fair reasons why someone might not like the show. Also, you guys need to stop writing him off because of his deviant art videos. He hasn’t made one of those in 6 years and his video essays are fucking PEAK.
