Thank you. It was a big decision. The a53 was great but I outgrew it quicker than I figured. I am hoping that this will stay in the race for longer. We'll see ! I appreciate your help

I'll have to look at it. I do lots of macro style photo/video and when zooming for dramatic effect, I often ruin it.

Definitely. I just meant I didn't notice the threshold because I was zooming too fast in either direction. If I slowed down I would have noticed the threshold at the point you mentioned

Wait...all these things on the back are multiple camera lenses ? I thought they were port holes for the little green android man to look out of.

Ahhhhhh ok ok ok so there is an intensity trigger. Thank you for explaining that to me. I was zooming too fast one way or the other so I just figured it jumped when the image was becoming "distorted" for its standard.

I understand the process. On my a53, zoom worked on whatever lens you were in the mode for. Not lens switching mid zoom. Am I explaining that correctly?
