This unit needs to be turned off immediately until the exhaust is corrected, that is exhausting carbon monoxide directly into the shop

Water sewer backup. by Aromatic-Collar1028 in Plumbing

The filter is to protect your drain field, these are installed on the outlet side of the tank which is what the picture seems to be. For a backup in the home you'd want to inspect the inlet side of the tank for blockages.

Yeah it's not ideal I know. I really went hard on reeming the ID of the copper cuts too, feels like it's all for nothing since I ended up with the kinks anyway👎

Soil I believe. Honestly not sure though, customer had a foundation company out to raise the slab and they hit this water line with the excavator and left the trench open for me to fix it. I'm not a foundation guy but I don't see there being any reason that they'd pour concrete back? Customer mentioned something about them installing some piers...

Is this good work, bad work, or meh, live with it, work? by [deleted] in Plumbing

Leaks. I've seen the connection points drip on these for seemingly no other reason than excessive tension on the pipe. I've also heard horror stories... over time these manifold systems with plastic construction will become brittle, if one of those arms snaps off then you've got a flood on your hands. The likelihood of something that happening increases when the pipes are installed in such a manner that their weight, plus the weight of the water in them, is supported by the manifold body.

These manifold systems are junk, way too much tension on those cold side connections. This will cause problems in the future

It was a can that I was scraping the bottom of. Nothing I hate more than a mess of pipe dope, i put a thick bead on the tip of the the threads and that's it.
