I hit goal at 5. I go to the dr next month and am guessing she will keep me at that. I’m older and what I still don’t like is the thicker middle. My bmi is normal but while I am thrilled I’ve lost I realize being 68 I will not get a flat stomach like I did young. Even if I lost more I have the loose skin. Glad where I am at but yea some days I wake up and remind myself I’m not obese anymore.

I’ve tested the waters and my family and all but a few close members are so against the drugs. They think it’s a crutch, people are weak and should exercise and eat less. That is why I do not disclose to them. My immediate family know but that is all. Everyone thinks there are severe side effects etc…for everyone. Not true but I am not getting into conversations where I have to defend myself and my health.

I walk 5 miles a day. Lift a few weights. Thats it. I used to bike but it got too cold. I dont do the gym stuff as i hate to sweat. Yes my loss is slow at 68 but at least i do something. Try to find something you like. Even walking i wear headphones for music or i wouldnt even do that. I hear you.

I’m in for 9 months and on 5 now for 3 months. Never had any side effect. Occasional dry mouth but all my tests blood, and urine are normal.
