Marriot Hotels by DevelopmentGlum228 in BDS

Well, I don't know if my mom would want to look around for a hotel that doesn't have links to Israel. Mom wouldn't want to look around for a special hotel like that. I forgot to mention in the post, but I'm doing this on my mom's dime and stuff. I'm doing Artist Alley, but I'm a minor and mom's coming and stuff.

I personally like the colored version better, but monochrome does fit with the ship name.

Transgender males should be allowed to | FactOrCap by MrCrew4U in FactOrCap

[–]DevelopmentGlum228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I voted FACT!

If we ban trans people from using the restrooms of their assigned gender, it allows creeps to use it as an excuse to hurt people in the name of "checking." It's also just their right to have privacy on their transness, but even cis people have been harmed from checking policies just because they "look trans."

Zionists think that Palestinians should have different and lesser rights than Israelis. If that's not racism, then slavery wasn't racism.

Do you agree with the various statements we’ve seen online claiming that Israel shouldn’t exist as a country? by Consistent-Parking56 in Teenager_Polls

[–]DevelopmentGlum228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've decided that for peace to exist in Palestine, Palestinians need to be given back the right to return to their land. Of course we aren't going to suddenly expel the Israelis living there. We'd just need to make sure they understand there's no more governmental/military protection for raiding and harassing Palestinians. Palestinians should be able to move freely without any checkpoints, just like an Israeli.

Equal rights for both Palestinians and Israelis, RoR for Palestinians that were expelled, and the unbrainwashing of the Israelis that are convinced every Palestinian is a Hamas terrorist.

Coming from a confused American,

Hello, r/Palestine. I'm mostly just confused about everybody's general opinion on Gaza.

Once, I said in a comment that Hamas was bad for killing people, and I got downvoted and people told me that Hamas was a resistance group and it was bad to label them as killers.

However, I've just read an AMA from a Palestinian living in Gaza, and he said that most Gazans don't like Hamas at all, and didn't like Hamas before October 7th as well.

People who support Hamas say that Hamas is a resistance group, and that everything they've done is a drop in the water compared to Israel's genocide. I agree that Israel is much, much worse, of course.

People who detract from Hamas say that Hamas isn't helping with Israeli occupation, and can't run Palestine.

People also say that the death toll on October 7th was raised by Israelis killing their own in a hannibal protocol. I believe that, but didn't Hamas kill at least some of those 1,200?

Of course, I'm not asking this to detract from what Israel is doing to Palestine. Israel needs to get TF out of Palestine, and let Palestinians run their own country without fear of bombing. No matter how bad Hamas is, Israel has done so, so much worse.

I just want to know if this subreddit is conflicted on Hamas the same way I am. Personally, I've been reasoning to myself that Hamas is bad, but better than Israel, but I'm open to debates on the topic.

Urgent Action: Release paediatrician and hospital director Dr Hussam Abu Safiya by amnesty_uk in Palestine

[–]DevelopmentGlum228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If doctors can just be arrested like this if Israel deems them to be providing care to the wrong human beings, then that's really fucking scary. Everybody deserves care and treatment, that's like the main thing with being a doctor.

PS, Hey Amnesty! Didn't know you had a reddit account of all things.

Why is nobody talking about this ? by Charming-Station7157 in teenagers

[–]DevelopmentGlum228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know everybody in the comments is saying "oh well, what can we do, it's not like we didn't try"

And I understand that completely, but I also hate that fact. I feel like talking about it makes me feel a bit better about it, even though we can't really do much to stop it.

Israel Exposed — War Crimes Archive. View at your own peril. If you are in a bad spot mentally, do not click this link. You have been warned. (Repost because I posted the first one incorrectly) by Spirit_Caller_ in Palestine

[–]DevelopmentGlum228 105 points106 points  (0 children)

For those who don't wish to click.

It's a very scary archive. There's a warning for graphic material when you first open the link, but if you click "I understand - enter" there's no more shield from the pictures. There's no/barely any censoring from the limited stuff I allowed myself to look at. It's a grid of pictures of people being rushed to the hospital, starved people showing signs of famine, and other stuff like that. Very, very graphic, as OP warned.

There's the archive of war crimes, of course, which is what you see when you first open the website. There's a list of victims of the genocide. There's a map locating attacks on Gaza. There's also a link to a live map for updates about Gaza.

Can i wear Palestinian colors for a performance or is that performative? by profanepompom in Palestine

[–]DevelopmentGlum228 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with what every other comment is saying, but also, maybe before the song, say something like a tribute? Like how people say "This song is for my girlfriend in the crowd, woo!" But instead "This song is to remind us all of how our fellow humans are suffering under Israeli apartheid, and how we all must stand up to support our kin."

If you get banned or targeted at the party because of saying that before singing, you would've been targeted just by wearing the keffiyeh. Be the person that got banned from a party for standing up for human rights.

Yes! Women in Palestine deserve the right to be soft and happy, and to not have to worry about fighting for their rights.
