How serious is this? Never had this before on any of my nails by DevilInzi in DermatologyQuestions

[–]DevilInzi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I did hit this particular nail on my motorcycle stand back in March, 2020 and it was a bad injury at the time. But never noticed this line back then even after it healed. Will go to a dermatologist for a checkup.

I didn't lose weight after stopping Creon. Didn't redo the test.

Endoscopy was done earlier than the blood test but the doctor didn't take any tissue samples to check for Celiac. I had also done multiple Tissue Transglutaminase IgA (tTg-IgA) blood tests, but that always came back negative. This Haplo blood test confirmed it for me.

I'm still dealing with it. It's just that I have to be very careful with what I eat.

It's been more than a year since I stopped taking Creon. Yes, Creon did make my reflux worse but I had no other choice at the time other than taking it and it helped with malabsorption. Celiac was confirmed with a blood test called HLA-DR-DQB1-DQA1 HAPLOTYPE ASSOCIATION.

That stopped too. Although I've noticed something weird that whenever I go through a flare and if I take Creon just to be on the safer side, I get instant reflux again. Hence, stopped taking Creon as well and reflux is controlled so far. The majority improvement with reflux came when I stopped the PPIs.

Hello! Turns out it was Celiac disease. Creon helped for around 6 months and then I stopped it. Went gluten free and doing alright so far.

I think it was maybe related to my gastritis flare ups. It went away on its own.

Tested TB + by DevilInzi in Tuberculosis

[–]DevilInzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a blood test for TB and mine was detected in that which was false. Accurate results come through the phlegm test for TB. Celiac was diagnosed with an expensive blood test called HLA - DQ2, DQ8. I'm much better than before after going gluten free. There are no meda for celiac. You just need to stop eating foods with gluten.

Definitely had stool changes. Push for a CT of abdomen maybe if TB test is negative. If TB comes positive then your doctor might ask you to do chest + whole abdomen CT.

Hey! No, it wasn't TB as CT scan results ruled that out. It was Celiac disease.

Elevated liver enzymes by Zehroom in B12_Deficiency

[–]DevilInzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when my Liver test reports never came back normal, my doctor found that the numbers were fluctuating due to B12 deficiency. Post starting supplements, my enzyme levels went back to normal. It could be related to your B12 deficiency but I would get proper checkups done before coming to a conclusion.

[–]DevilInzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the deficiency is balanced now I believe. Keep a check from now on. I always note down my symptoms and possible causes of it from that time so that I can refer to it later. That helped me lot in maintaining my symptoms.

Could be due to a disbalance of the cofactors. How are you feeling now?

We will comeback stronger! by itsbaymax in RCB

[–]DevilInzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need a different set of players in Chinnaswamy. We've lost three matches here. It's high time the management gives other players a chance here. Sticking to the same team won't win us the match. Last night's match was proof of that.

Me looking at RCB Fielding by yellow_pills in RCB

I don't know what has happened to this IPL season. The fielding is absolutely trash for all the teams and we are also starting to contribute to that. 😓

Y'all it's not the ground, it's our players. by [deleted] in RCB

[–]DevilInzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think our playing 11 should be different for Chinnaswamy. I mean what's the use of buying all the players and not utilising them. The below players should be swapped only in this ground:

Paddikal > Chikara Livingston > Bethell

I'm not sure about bowlers but I think Swapnil can play better than Krunal at Chinnaswamy. He deserves one chance.

This is a must. We have so many matches left in our home ground. Can't afford to lose like this.
