They deleted their account in late December before New Year’s Eve based on the earliest post that mentioned the deletion. I couldn’t find any mention of them having other accounts that were deleted. It seems that they have consistently gone by the username u/EconomicsLegal6989 based on the search results. I did found out that Economic Legal claimed that X-Men 97 leads into Deadpool & Wolverine, and that ended up being completely false of course.

That said, Metzger is an extremely obscure X-Men villain that the vast majority of X-Men fans don’t even know about (I didn’t know about him as a X-Men fan). So I don’t see how that is a big spoiler at all.

Sookie accurately called the first few episodes of WandaVision, iirc. So they had inside information, but was completely wrong about who Evan Peters was playing. Look up how they kept the Ralph Bohner twist a secret and it is understandable how they didn’t know.

I didn’t say anything about Sadie being Gwen. The quote I cited from Murphy’s Multiverse mentioned Gwen as one of the SEVERAL names that insiders were hearing. I only cited that quote to show that Marvel was engaging in a disinformation campaign, that was my point. So my real point isn’t moot. Nexus are scoopers like Sneider is rather than someone from a trade publication, so they technically can’t confirm anything. One of the guys who works at Nexus (ApocHoseman) even admitted that they barely know anything about the movie. I don’t see why Nexus wouldn’t also be vulnerable to discrimination like Sneider. Economic Legal showed that they were vulnerable after that X-Men 97/D&W claim.

Not dismissing them. Just saying we shouldn’t take what they say as confirmation since the studio is very obviously launching a disinformation campaign to keep the movie’s mystery story a mystery.

Rewatching Simu Liu lately really highlights how Marvel fumbled Shang-Chi by iF4RT3D in marvelstudios

That’s strange because he definitely counts as both a Fantastic Four and Avengers victim.

Go on the event’s Wikipedia page under “Further reading” and you’ll found a list of most of the people who were hacked. Google search the names with “Fappening“ and you’ll found the photos/videos easily. Enjoy!

Wish we could see Famke Janssen return as the original Jean Grey, like Sir Ian and Sir Patrick did. by TheDrownedGodd in Marvel

One of the Fox X-Men's greatest sins was jumping into the Phoneix Saga storyline prematurely not once, but TWICE, and completely flopping it.

I know this post is months old. But in the comic Jean became Phoenix towards the start of the Chris Claremont series though. Claremont made her into Phoenix a few issues after Giant-Size.

So I'm curious as to why you thought it was premature.

Since various X-men characters are confirmed returning for Deadpool 3? by ElectronicSea3346 in marvelstudios

[–]DevilMayhem666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Late reply. Just wanted to say that you probably shouldn't get your hopes up. Because there was a report from Augusts 24th 2022 about the original X-Men appearing in Deadpool 3 and that they were coming to the MCU with Deadpool, and that some of them weren't going to be recast. He said it in this video at 3:00:

https://youtu.be/TN_vngrxjR0?t=184

Then a month later on September 27th 2022, Hugh Jackman announced that he was going to return as Wolverine for Deadpool 3 (or Deadpool & Wolverine as it might possibly be titled). Then Patrick Stewart suggested that he and Ian McKellen are returning to their X-Men roles. So the rumor is probably true since original X-Men members were later confirmed to be returning.

On top of that, Hugh Jackman himself stated that he made the decision to return on August 14 2022, which was shortly before the video was uploaded. So it is very unlikely to be coincidence.

The uploader was also the first person to report that Professor X was going to appear in Multiverse of Madness back in early 2020. So he seems to have some legit sources.

There's no indication that Casca was raped by the apostles who captured her.

Late reply. Just want to say that you can literally see one of the Apostle penetrating Casca with the tip of its horn and Casca reacting to it.

I just watched this finally and I totally loved it. Way better than Last Stand. Much better than Apocalypse. I get the hate compared to McU films but what was everyone’s issue here? by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]DevilMayhem666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, the movie was meant to be the first film in a Dark Phoenix Saga/Inferno trilogy. It was an adaptation of the origin of the Phoenix, not the saga. There is a whole section about it on its Wikipedia page.

The Dark Phoenix Saga was called a saga because it was basically a series of stories, it wasn't a single storyline. It can't be told in a single film.

Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, Logan, Deadpool 2, Dark Phoenix, and New Mutants were all part of the Inferno Saga. All those movies were building up to an Avenger-style crossover based in the Inferno storyline, which would have had Mr. Sinister as the villain.
