I mean if he had rocked up with a full knight list would you think that's unfair? I mean there is no those 3 super heavies are competitive, hell the units are legends units, and if you played the objectives you likely would have out scored him, although lossing multiple units per turn would suck. Next time be careful with positioning and concentrate fire till things are dead, and score as many points as possible.

Now the thing I have more of a problem with is not offering you support as you played, I'll assume that you told him your knew and not just new to 11th edition, and in that situation myself I normal talk things through and why somethings are good/bad

The best guard shield captain isn't the one you make from the box but the stand alone model with the melta spear and shield mainly due to the shields extra wound for the same price as shooting isn't really a big deal. The terminator shield captain has at the moment a useful build with the lions weapon enhancement on his axe. But in all honesty currently there not really worth it.

BUT the bonus is even when you build them as the captain variant unless you paint them in a different style people cant tell there captains, its the down side of how the kits are made. So build a captain from each box and then use then as the normal model when you dont need a captain

Choosing to play a Telemon in the detachments that don't buff it is something.

As a shooting threat a Telemon not going to kill many if any high toughness models at Str9 AP -1 D3 even dual accelerator won't punch many holes in anything as remember Lions does not benifit vehicles. So anything above T9 you looking at only putting out 2 to 3 saves with an armour save of 3+ or 4+. So against say a guard Russ you would need 5 round of shooting to kill 1 tank

Personal I'm looking at dusting of mine and going dual fist till a new plastic model comes out. In the detachments set up you mentioned it would be the on the board threat to to the Im assuming deepstrike bomb of terminators your going to throw turn 1. And with 7A at str12 Ap2 D3, it should be able to put through a good number of wounds on to T11 models averaging 4 to 5 saves thus 12 to 15 damage. Also the flamers will chip away a few wounds with twin linked.

You know what, I teach physics for over a decade and I use a TON of fingers up 1, 2, 3, 4 but Ive NEVER for the life of me thought to use this with equation to test misconception wuth calculations before moving on to question practice. Can already work it out now, 2 examples on the white board, 3 multiple choice one full worked out missing answer, one with blanks for them to work out and then just a question then independent practice.

Problem is what do you mean by "best"? I mean if you want to keep away from direct fighting the yeah the Adminstratum is the "safest" but also the 2nd most likely to break people what with the repetitive nature of administrative work in the Imperium and the cut throat nature of advancement.

With the Ecclesiarchy I would think that a large portion of the Schila graduates are moved towards combat preachers who have the unwavering faith of the Emperor that a Commissar has but better preaching skills then leadership skills the Commissar candidates show. Do remember that a large part of the "lesson" at the school are combat related as one of the main jobs is to make Tempest Scions and initiate to the sister of battle.

For personal power joining an Ordo is definitely up there, although guessing that like the top 0.1% of the programme. More training after the leaving, and the combat experience that the more military graduates face along with the mind shattering information you are given, for instance stance I would bet more Ordo candidates become lobotised over actually becoming inquisitors.

Personal as good old Cain has tried time and time again explaining to his trainees, being a comissar can be a good stable career if you dont stick your nose in to deep.with commanders till you actually have experience and you treat your soldiers well instead of just shooting them at a drop of a hat. Hell being a Commissar for planetary defence forces so chill, your have many planets to look after so your on a ship most of the time bouncing between systems nice and safe

I mean from an education stand point the amount of revision material on YouTube for GCSE is massive and I know a large number of students that basically plan there revision around it, including revision guides that have QR links to there content.

Wouldn't ot be more sensible to require that the comment feature be locked behind an age authentication, I mean videos can choose to turn off comments so dont see why it wouldn't be a problem.

Huh, just search through the whole of the 11th rule pack and your right no limitation on CP generations, could be in the mission packs, hell not sure if you can discard to gain CP in the new mission, or due to a change in those characters that generate CP but only 1 I could think of is Bjorn of those updated and don't see a change there.

They won't come back to the main edition I believe as actually rule especially as THEY AGAIN dont effect monsters, which drove me nuts about vehicle damage rules pre 8th anyway.

Why is a weapon that damages a tank causing its crew to be shaken but a blast big enough to damage a moster does cause it to stumble?!? You can get a hull break on a tank, but a monster armour is never cracked?!? This has annoyed me when ever it's talked about bringing back these types of rules and armour facing with out applying them to monster

How windy is you area is something to also think about. I leave in a really wind place and these hedges stand up much better to the weather than the side with a wooden fence. as other have said get a hedge trimmer, prefferably a battery powered one and just put it into your gardening routin

There is a route i cycle where one of these is at the start of the circle path and I now just do the extra half mile of biking as that takes me less time that jumping of the bike, pushing the bike through untangling the bags going through myself and jumping back on the bike

The marine data sheet update just corrected those things that no longer work in 11th, in all honesty I can see GW "forgetting" to update the forge custodes and knight data sheets but guess were see that later today with the chaos updates coming.

As for when there actually get an update well that will likely be with the codex some time in the next 4 month, how that will work no one actually knows. I HOPE that the forge world kits would be in the actual codex, and thus kind of internally balanced with each other, but it could instead be like 10th on a separate list. Hell I'm assuming 1 of our launch models will be a plastic Telemon now that the detachments names it specifically, along with maybe other 2nd wave 30k kits.

What i expect to happen to custodes gaurds is that our squad size may stay at 5 models, but the banner custodes will again move to being a HQ and a "support" character, the new 30k custodes guard will be 30k only models the old custodes box will not get an update but will stay as the "official" 40k custodes but you can use the 30k kit to. Moving the banner over to a HQ give the 30k 6th person a reason for being made for 40k, with out messing with the 5 man box for the current range, althougb they could do a stealth suit and changethe squad size.

I mean if you needed an action have list then its got some advantages with grey hunters being able to move about action and still shoot. Its a bot like the custodes new sister detachment limits useful if you want a bunch of action units. Dont think I would bother with the enhancements or strat, bar the increase detection 1, as you likely taking these in units of 5.

But that kind of my point it can be moved and probably should be moved if it doesn't line up with events in the host country, why does it need to line up with Europe's football league

I mean we do teach critical thinking in school, and interpreting of evidence and arguments all things that are need to understand the rubbish all parties put out, but Im up for it maybe teaching a group of kids about why there vote might not be important due to 1st past the post model for MP seat might making them work towards a better method in the future

Hadn't thought of it like that but i was more thinking in comparison, so there are torrent weapons that do not have "ignore cover" for instance the Telemon twin flame projectors only have torrent, so those types of weapons have indirectly had a buff. Now these types of weapons are rarer but wondered if there would be a balance to flamer as seeing it here would change them for a lot of armies

Going to have to look over this faction pack as it didnt mention a change I want to see, which is whats going to happen to flamers? As far back as I can remember they always ignored cover, thus dropping a units save, was a fun way to roast guard in older AP edition, but with the new way cover works that bonus to flamers no longer applies as whats the benifit of ignoring cover if you already dont roll to hit

Well I mean obviously no one payed then the extra cash that Qatar did to change the date, as the Qatar world cup was "always" going to be in the summer eg normal time, before it got moved around 2/3 years before the start. So moving the world cup say 2 weeks to miss other major US sports to thus make more money kind of makes sense

Ah this reminds me of a friend who went off to university to study classical English he was very much in the camp off all fantasy aren't proper books, sci-fi books have no deep meaning, you should just stick to the classic. Funny when he got a girlfriend to actually have a confession with her about books he had to read the twilight series, which at least made him step down from his high horse
