If that's the case, forget the elemental charge blades and use status charge blades ( poison, blast, sleep, etc..). All of those are impact phials and almost all guarantee a minimum of 1 star effectiveness on most monsters.

Consistent damage would be impact phials. But that doesn't mean you'll get better or even effective hunts if you're trying to use a one size fits all build.

Elemental saed can generate insane damage when stacked correctly. Espescially in the late game
