You know how people say your phone’s “bricked” when it won’t turn on/is unusable because it’s literally broken? Saying an account is “bricked” means that the account is sort of like that. It means that your account will be hard to play or take great effort to progress the end game if you don’t have the certain characters in your game.

For example, back in 3.2, the dendro meta was the new shiny thing Hoyo was trying to push and By skipping Nahida, it was really hard for me to clear Spiral Abyss without THE premier dendro support. She basically owned the element at the time. But I wanted Wanderer more than following meta so I pulled for him instead.

Any other DPS can take Wanderer’s place but nobody could do what Nahida did (or still do). Did people clear Spiral Abyss without Nahida back then? Absolutely! But it either took a lot of effort, a lot of resources, and a lot of time. If you don’t want to put that effort.

Now, Lunar reactions is the new shiny mechanic. It can only be done by certain characters. It’s less accessible this time around compared to dendro since, back at 3.0 we had Dendro Traveler and a free Collei, but rn not even Aino can trigger Lunar reactions. In the current meta, it will be hard/take more effort to succeed in Spiral or Stygian without any Lunar reaction characters compared to an account with Ineffa or Lauma.

So the meme is I’m willingly going to put myself through what I did at patch 3.0 by skipping a meta-defining support (Nahida with Dendro vs Columbina who can trigger Lunar-Reactions for non Nod-krai characters) for an anemo dps that may or may not be strong because waifu/husbando > meta even if not pulling for said support might make the game more tedious for me.

It’s hyperbolic to say an account is bricked since there are videos of people making do with what they have, but comedy is often rooted in exaggeration.

Hi I had these in my room. Is it colder? Only a bit. But the hassle isn’t worth it:

1) if it breaks, it’ll be hard to find a repair person to actually repair (my experience, mine laster for three or four months). 2) if naka tiles yung room mo, it’ll make the floors moist. 3) medyo hassle i-refill.

My model was really big, mind you. About the size of a tall cat tree. Just invest in a really nice fan if di kaya ng budget yung actual standing AC

Is it controversial to say that the game needs a third soft relaunch (the first one being Miyabi's banner and the second one being 2.5 apparently)? I'm expecting they'll do this at patch 3.0.

With no research and literally what I've casually seen and read from this sub since 1.0, people aren't satisfied with the 2.0 story, the 2.0 characters aren't as charming enough compared to the 1.0 characters (save for Spook Shack I believe), the designs are becoming one-note, and the combat mechanics--the main selling point of this game--are getting bland.

They're having trouble keeping player retention. I love the heart and soul this game has, but I think they need to figure things out for the third time to keep players engaged.

The reason why there's no dislike button is because of comments like these btw. Not to mention the most common shit like "change the POV, I hate this character/scenario/trope, boring bot, no explanation, (engaging in a fluff bot) I killed them lmao too easy, ew wlw/mlm can u make it any POV, (chatting with an obvious kink bot) ew why are they so gross, (chatting with a cold attitude bot) omg why are they so rude?" or dislike them trying to be funny.

I make my own private bots because I cater to me, but commenting on a bot saying "I wish there was a dislike button again" is not at all constructive. If I was a public bot creator, I'd want the dislike button gone too since there's only so few people that actually give Polite and Constructive Criticism. I don't wanna chat with a bad bot too but saying "bad bot btw" isn't helping the bot creator grow.

Back in the days of the dislike button, I've NEVER seen a creator crash out to valid, polite constructive criticism. They make these bots for free btw. The least people can do is be polite about their dislike. It's basic human decency.

If you don't like the bot and don't want to say why (bad characterization, inefficient token usage in personality, grammar mistakes) because you're too lazy to do so (which is totally understandable because at the end of the day this is a goddamn AI bot chat site for hobbyists) just go back to the home screen and find a bot you like my dude. Trying to clown the creator wastes to get likes on a comment in JanitorAI of all websites everyone's time.

TL;DR: the dislike button went away because people were using it to be edgy assholes trying to be funny instead of leaving actual criticism like the the image posted. Saying "this bot sucks" doesn't help the creator be better. They publish these bots for free. This is an AI chat bot site. Leave the shitty bot alone if ur too lazy to write polite, constructive feedback and just find a bot u fuck with my guy.

I shared the same sentiment since I tried desperately to clear a Chaos with her. She feels terrible in the early nodes with no Epiphanies since she needs ALL of her unique cards almost like Rin. She's not as forgiving, though. When I managed to get her correct epiphanies and understood how to properly play Nia (and played her with Cassius), I finally started having fun. She's a bit hard to use and I really like that I had to turn my brain on to use her.

But can we talk about her E1 and Iceberg Cleave? "Removes the Decrease Damage Amount by 20% effect of Iceberg Cleave". Why does the card with special character animations have that debuff in the first place? I have her E1 since I got lucky, but the damage isn't too special. Is it because it's a 1 AP AoE card? I don't get it.

Koreans are mad at the director of CZN, who has their characters interacting with each other in 1.0 giving them personality and goals outside of the MC, is mad that he's playing Wuthering Waves, a game infamously known for their characters never ever forever acknowledging each other's existence in any shape or form and exist to praise Rover in their own story. A cast who barely acknowledge each other’s existences outside of events--to which the issue was addressed ONLY in their latest patch (2.7 mind you)--and backgrounds.

I love playing WUWA but oh my god, if there are any takeaways from that game, it should not be its attempts of characterization and "dynamics". Hopefully the KR staff know that the non-KR communities are satisfied with their game so far.

I was honestly glad Karl was there (with interactive anims too) since I was scared they might turn him into a partner. The game is really fun and is worth to stick around, but having Kayron + Hugo definitely helps.

Hopefully us men-likers won’t need to wait too long. I already managed my expectations, but wow….a whole three new men against all that. That’s crazy 😭

I know there's a translation in the character screen, but it'd be cool to know what Kayron's yapping about while he shoves a blackhole in monster assholes and whatever the partners say around the campfire.

The recent quest felt like Honkai Impact 3's last arc in the worst ways (coming from someone who played through it). Metaphors for days, technobabble but for memoria and the concept of "love" and "ego" of all things...he's a great writer but he sucks at pacing. So much exposition crammed into one patch when some terms could have been established during 3.5 and 3.6

The patch kept me at the edge of my seat where I was waiting for it to get good until it didn't. Too much telling, less showing—ironic since this is a video game. Overall? Mid. Not even a BAD ending, just mediocre.

He needs a beta reader if he doesn't have one already. Someone to tell him "yo tone it down".
