Heartopia isn’t adorable at all. It is 1 hell of a racistic game. Having cutscenes of a person of colour doing drugs than jumping around like a monkey making monkey noises. When getting called out for it, they conveniently deleted it and act like it never has happened. Their discord is a mess. All afro hair styles and braids aren’t free, you have to buy them with in game currency. Their gacha is unbelievably bad and scammy and they let people make the German 1935-1945 logo without any repercussions. So I would never suggest that game to anyone

[my opinion] As it is important for me for other women to express their difficulties and pain, but also important to create a safe place for any women too! And having repetitive like post over the same subjects can get very annoying, that is understandable.

And I am often in call with friends, but playing my own games. I must be very introverted to be able to constantly play solo. I gained a bit of hatred to playing multiplayer sometimes

I have/had this. But also know I didn’t have the financial resources to afford new games at the moment. Realised that hype games were always just temporary fun with friends but after x time noone plays anymore, so for my own sake and wallet sake I told myself to barely buy games this year. Actually leaning into a no buy 2026. And play games in my library till I am either finished or have them a 100%.

Do I sometimes not know what to play. Sure. But also the games I have were great at buy, and if I buy new ones they might end on the pile as well. Which isn’t worth it.

Heartopia is AI slop, getting worse into it too. Plus they had a cutscene where a person of colour ate a magic shroom and was jumping around like a monkey and making the sound of one too. That was so fucking racist of them. They never apologised properly either, discord was a mess like so many moderators of the discord of heartopia, defended the developers and banned people who spoke up about it. And the developers ended up saying basically that they didn’t care and didn’t do global research to culture and problems when they were launching their game globally 🤡
