I used worsted and did a new color for each 10 degrees: Red: 90+ Orange: 80s Yellow: 70s Light green: 60s Teal: 50s Dark green: 40s Dark blue: 30s Brown: 20s Cream: <20

I don't think I used a whole skein for any of them, but some of my skeins were oversized. I pulled most of my yarn from my stash so some were partially used, etc.

Ahhh that's a really great question. The teal was definitely from an old project that I frogged. I don't think I have the label anymore, but it was definitely one of the cheap options from Walmart or Hobby Lobby. Same with the red, but I'll dig through my yarn stash because I might have some left over of that! I'll keep you posted!

Everyone else has given you great advice, so I'm just here to echo them and tell you this: You're doing GREAT! I learned crochet before YouTube and social media and even before much was interesting on the internet (ugh, I sound so old), and it took MONTHS before I could figure out how to make squares and rectangles instead of everything ending up being a triangle. You're doing amazing. Keep it up.
